The patent is for outdoor sports apparel comprising pants with protective pads. Specifically, the pants have a protective pad arranged from the lower edge of the waist across the buttocks to protect the buttocks from falls while snowboarding. The protective pad also extends laterally across the hips. In some embodiments, the protective pad is made of an elastic material. The pants may also have a pair of pads arranged from the upper edge of each knee to below the knee.
