CCCCCCCCC CCCC

The document discusses the banking industry in India and the growth of internet banking. It provides background on the banking sector in India and states that demand for banking services is expected to grow strongly, especially in retail banking, mortgages and investment services. It mentions that Indian banks are considered to have clean, strong and transparent balance sheets relative to other banks in comparable economies. The document then discusses the growth of internet banking in India and how it has provided open access to customers globally. It states that internet presence transforms a bank's status from 'brick and mortar' to 'internet banking' once the bank goes through a technology integration effort to enable customer access via the World Wide Web.
