TEXT: LUKE 2:820
By Rev. Dr. Julius Czar Daoa
Introduction:
Goodafternoon YouthJammers, welcome po sa lahat. Shout sa lahat ng kasama online! :)
GIFT:Expiriencing the greatest gift of Christmas.”
May magaganda pang nakalaan sa iyong buhay na kailangan mong makita at maranasan.
So often in the Christmas story, we focus on the main characters: Mary, Joseph, and of course, Jesus. But
through the short account in Luke 2:8 20, we can learn from the shepherds tatlong bagay para makita
8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An
angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were
terrified.
10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all
the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12 This
will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to
Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
MGA SHEPHERDS NA WALANG KAMALAY MALAY from ORDINARY to EXTRAORDINARY.
Are you ready to experience extraordinary gifts from God? Extraordinary na pag-aaral, sweldo, business,
extraordinary spiritual life? UNWRAP.
How to unwrap the greatest gift of God for your life? Join me in our message entitled, “The Greatest Gift
of All.”
EXECUTION
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to
Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
“Lets go” is a decision to execute.
Execute the vision.
“Let’s go to Bethlehem
Bethlehem is only a small place compared to other places in Israel. Don’t underestimate your small
beginning.
Let’s go!
Sayang ang isang pangarap na hindi nilakaran. Let’s go!
EXPERIENCE
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to
Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
The Greek word for “see” is eido (i-do) which means to experience.
mangyari.
In this passage, they want to experience Jesus.
EXCITEMENT
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When
they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and
all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these
things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all
the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
Ang excited ay hindi nagsasayang ng panahon.
The angels announced in spectacular fashion that the Messiah had been born. As soon as the angels left,
the shepherds looked at each other and said: What are we waiting for?...
Are you excited? Here are the marks of excitement:
Hindi maitatago ang kawalan ng excitement. Ito y halata. Halata ang hindi excited.
Ang excited ay hindi nagsasayang ng panahon! So they hurried off
(Church, cell,
conference, school, work,etc)
Are you still excited? Excitement will lead you to encounter Jesus.
These shepherds are ordinary people with extraordinary passion! No doubt, pinili sila ni Lord
Excitement fuels your life.
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When
they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,
The shepherds did exactly as they were told. Seek and you shall find!
Excitement will bring you closer to your goal.
Pinagpala sila at naging pagpapala sila.
17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this
child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
Hows your level of excitement? Hows your passion for the Lord? If it s dry, set it on fire by seeking Jesus
first.
Conclusion:
How to open the greatest gift of God for you? EXECUTION, EXPERIENCE, AND EXCITEMENT.
20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which
were just as they had been told.
These shepherds are just ordinary people, outcast in the society, poorest of the poor, in short class D
materially and spiritually. But God gave them the opportunity to level up, God gave them the
opportunity to make a difference. Ending? From ordinary to extraordinary.
Whats the key? They never took for granted the opportunity. They never wasted the opportunity which
the Lord is giving them, opportunity to unwrap the greatest gift from God. Believe me, it can happen to
your life
When God gave you the opportunity grab it agad. (salvation, transformation, etc.)
MINISTRY TIME: Prayer of salvation, transformation, healing, provision, etc.
