The laundry room is located on the mezzanine floor of the building.
The facilities operate on a smart-card system and on a first come,
first serve basis. Smart-card loading stations are available with
payment by debit or credit. Please abide by the rules and
regulations posted in the laundry rooms.

• ALFRED Dry Cleaning Services are available within our laundry
  area waiting room. This is a pay-per-use service and must be

Pool
Our large, heated, indoor pool is located in the 3rd floor. Residents
will enjoy our facilities and spacious change room facilities. Please
abide by the rules posted in the pool area.

Enjoy a spacious outdoor space throughout the year with views of Downtown Toronto.
Our patio is equipped with patio seating, barbecues and tables for our Residents to
use from Spring through Fall.

BBQ Rules
• Only registered residents may reserve the Barbecue area and must be present at
  the event as he/she will be responsible for the conduct of his/her guests while on
  the premises.
• The Resident should make sure that the Barbecue area is clean of all debris and
  garbage. All garbage should be disposed off in the proper container at the rear of
  the building. Any cleaning cost required will be the responsibility of the Resident.
  Cleaning costs range from $50 to $150 depending on the current condition of the
  Barbecue area during the time of inspection, and at the same time security deposit
  will be forfeited.
• NOISE RESTRICTION - Loud music and excessive noise are not permitted.
• The Resident will be responsible to all guests and their conduct while on the
  premises. Any damage in the Barbecue area or other common areas of the building
  resulting from the event shall be the sole responsibility of the Resident and all costs
  associated with such damages and resulting repairs shall be charged back to the
  Resident.

Washing
Please refer to the signage posted on the walls and/or on the
machines located in the laundry room as they will provide you
with step by step instructions on the proper usage of both the
washers and dryers.
Drying
• Some dryers are programmed with the ability to add more
   drying time to a dry cycle. To know if the dryers in your
   building have this feature, please check the screen on the
   card reader attached to the dryer.
•   To add more dry time to your dry cycle, you must do so prior
    to 3 minutes remaining on the cycle. A “top up” dry cycle
    costs $0.25 for an extra 8 or 10 minutes (depending on
    whether gas or electric dryers).
Please call us with any service complaints and /or machine
breakdowns and we will respond to your request within 48
hours. Our service staff offers courteous and prompt service.

Using your laundry card on the website
Log in for webxpress features
Go to www.mysparkle.ca and enter the 10-digit card
number located on the back of your laundry card.
This will log you into your personal account.
Navigating the sparkle website
Once you have entered your card number, you will
see your home page which has a menu with four
headings at the top of the screen on your tool bar.
These headings include Machine Availability, Trends,
Purchases, and Subscriptions.
Machine availability
View which machines are currently available in your
laundry room. If the equipment is in use the status
will read “Busy” instead of “Available.”
Trends
You can view the times throughout the day your
laundry room is most active. This enables you to
choose an optimal time to do your laundry.

Purchases
You will be able to view all purchases made using the
VAC (Value Add Centre). This feature will include the
date, purchase amount(s), and method of payment.
You can also print a receipt of each transaction.
Subscriptions
You can choose to receive notification emails.
Notification Email
If you wish to receive an email notification on any
purchases made on your laundry card, enter your email
address and click “I would like my purchase receipts
emailed to me” and click “Save”. You will automatically
be sent notifications to your email account on all
purchases made. This is not mandatory and you can
opt-in or opt-out of this free service at anytime.
Text Message Notification
If you wish to receive text messages, enter your Cellular
Phone Number and Click “I would like to receive SMS
notifications when my laundry is ready. Then Click
“Save”. This feature allows you to receive a text message
to your cellular phone whenever a washer or dryer is
started with your laundry card. Once the washer or dryer
cycle is completed, you will receive a text message that
reads “your laundry is ready”. This is not mandatory and
you can opt-in/opt-out of this free service at anytime.
Sparkle Solutions does not charge our clients for this service. However

COVID-19 Measures
Travelling into Canada: Mandatory Quarantine
Information from the Government of Canada
If you don't have COVID-19 symptoms, you must quarantine for 14 days while you're still at risk of developing
symptoms and infecting others.
Should you develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 during your 14-day quarantine, you must begin
isolating for an additional 14 days from the date of your positive test result or onset of symptoms.
All residents entering Canada, whether in mandatory quarantine or isolation, must:
•   go directly to your place of quarantine or isolation, without stopping anywhere
•   wear a non-medical mask or face covering while travelling to the place where you'll quarantine or isolate
•   stay at your place of quarantine or isolation for 14 days (only leave to seek medical assistance if needed)
•   not use shared spaces such as courtyards, restaurants, gyms or pools if you’re staying at a hotel or paid

•   not have any guests, even if you’re outside and stay 2 metres apart from them
•   monitor your health for symptoms of COVID-19

• wear a suitable non-medical mask or face covering while in transit
• practice physical distancing at all times
• not go outside, including private outdoor spaces, like backyards or balconies, at your place of isolation
If your symptoms get worse during your isolation period, contact your local public health authority and follow
their instructions.
Residents without symptoms (mandatory quarantine)
If you're in mandatory quarantine and have no COVID-19 symptoms, you may use a private outdoor space if
your place of quarantine has one. This means one that’s not shared with anyone else.
Avoid contact with those who:
• are 65 years or older
• have underlying medical conditions
• have compromised immune systems
You may only quarantine with somebody from the above group if:
• they consent to the quarantine or are the parent or minor in a parent-minor relationship
• you complete a form provided by a government representative at the port of entry explaining the consent
   and receive authorization to proceed

Our Ask of You
Please take care of yourself. Practice preventative measures and continue to follow all COVID-19 precautions
in force as directed from the Ontario health authorities:
•   Wash your hands frequently with soap and hot water and for at least 20 seconds.
•   Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, especially with unwashed hands.
•   Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces within your home, such as toys, electronic
    devices and door handles.
•   When going to/from your apartment, please follow physical distancing guidelines maintaining a 2-meter
    distance in our lobbies.
•   Please respect the elevator capacity of a maximum of 4 people.
•   We strongly recommend wearing a mask whenever traveling through the common areas, including the
    elevator.
•   If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, call your doctor or local public health authority.
•   If you have a suspected, presumptive or a confirmed case of COVID-19, follow the self-isolation and
    quarantine requirements from medical professionals and health authorities.
•   Maintain open lines of communication with us. We are here to help.
•   Inform us of confirmed case(s) within your household. Contact Resident Services as it is our intention to
    keep residents safe by preventing the spread of illness by notifying there is a confirmed case within the
    community; when we do, we will not identify the individual or the suite number. We will protect your privacy
    and safeguard any information shared with us.
