Today, when technology has infused our lives, we inhabit a world that is increasingly
moving towards a connected ecosystem; a new age where machines intelligently
transmit and receive commands and function independently. IoT and other
technological evolutions are transforming every facet of life with the touch of
connectivity. Inter-device connectivity and seamless data-flow are ushering in an
era of info-nomics with focus on cost, efficiency and user-experience. A smart
ecosystem with several inter-dependent components or sub-systems is a reality
today. Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, Smart Offices, Smart Manufacturing and Smart
Ecosystems at every level of social, commercial and industrial order, are bound to
improve the quality of life and contribute to more sustainable communities.
As India races towards digital-driven life and economy, Polycab is deeply committed
to usher in the Smart Connection.
PHILOSOPHY
We at Polycab have always been working towards making India self reliant by enabling and
empowering connections that matter.

POLYCAB’S
CONTRIBUTION TO BharatNet-II
A world’s largest rural broadband project
GUJARAT
16,517 KMS
Polycab telecom has worked recently as a Project Implementation Agency (PIA) with its consortium-partner for BharatNet,
world’s largest rural broadband project, which aims to connect more than 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats with a 100 Mbps
connectivity through the optical fibers at affordable prices. We executed surveys, planning, supply, installations, end-to-end
integrations, testing and commissioning of optical fiber networks (underground and aerial) with GPON-equipment, traffic
provisioning on a built network, service provisioning of the created network and much more in Gujarat and Bihar under
BharatNet Phase-II initiative. With16,517 kms in Gujarat and 3,785 kms in Bihar, we laid around 20,000 kms of optical fiber
network in a calendar year.
With 3,767 Gram Panchayats in Gujarat and nearly 1,012 Gram Panchayats in Bihar, we lit up around 4,500 GPs in a year. By
empowering rural areas with high speed network and robust digital infrastructure to bring digital experience of citizens in
rural areas at par with cities.

to shape the networks of the future, Polycab Telecom has
been involved from material design to rolling out the most Knowing that the high speed data-networks will drive
complex of architecture or bandwidth challenges, with its backhaul fiberisation, we’re building our OFC based
deep expertise in creating OFC systems. network architectures as the primary solution for backhaul
and fixed broadband in the country and world over.
We have set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub along Polycab Telecom is continually ramping up its capabilities
