Career Goals

I have two major career goals that I would like to pursue and it is an either
or situation to where I will have to choose one or the other. My first path and
career goal that I am pursuing is to become a finance analyst for a securities firm
or an investment bank. I have always had an interest with Finance and the way
money moves around within all markets and companies. I look to grow my
knowledge and understanding of securities, companies themselves, and the inner
workings of financial markets. Ultimately, I would like to take that knowledge and
open my own firm where I would provide financial services to retail investors.
My second career goal is to build houses. I have been involved with
residential construction for over 5 years and it is another passion of mine.
However, I do not want to go the traditional route to building houses and
subdivisions. I am interested in 3D printed construction and sustainability. There
are now massive 3D printers that can build structures with concrete and one
company that is leading the way is ICON. They are working to build structures that
can survive the harsh environment on Mars and I think that is awesome.
