Module 1: Introduction to Architectural Visual 3 and One Point Perspective Interior
Module Information
Module Overview
The module introduces different type of architectural graphic presentation, rules and proportion, perceived scale, proportioning
methodologies, perceived scale, multiple vanishing point, sheet composition, and principles of perspective projection. It will
progress with understanding the basic procedure of creating one point perspective simple objects to interior scene.
Module Coverage
The module has 3 subtopics which will be discussed in a span of 5 weeks with 4 Formative assessments and 1 Summative
Assessment to be submitted at the date provided in the Course Information Booklet Course Outline and Study Plan. It is
schedule on the week 1-5 of the semester. Listed below is its subtopic:

• Topic 1: Introduction to Architectural Visual Communication 3 and One Point Perspective


• Topic 2: Interior One Point Perspective
• Topic 3: Interior Plan One Point Perspective

Module Objectives

• The module aims to help the student recall the previous learning of Architectural Visual Communication 1 and to learn
where Perspective Projection belong with Architecture Graphic Presentation.
• The module aims to develop student understanding and evaluating skill of proper one point perspective of simple
objects and interior spaces.
• The module aims to improve skill and technique in one point perspective projection of simple objects to interior space.
• The module aims to understand and recall terminologies of one point perspective projection
• The module aims to help the student to remember the facts and basic concept of architectural interior one-point
perspective.

Module Learning Outcome


By the end of this module students should be able to:

• Create a fully furnished interior space through projection procedures of one point perspective.
• Examine and appraise the quality of output of one point perspective.
• Apply the skills and techniques of one point perspective procedures.
• Recognize and describe the terms in One point perspective.
• Define the use and concepts of one point perspective as a medium for presentation.

Module Interdependencies
This module serves as an introductory lesson that reinforces Module 2. The output of this module serves as a guide for the next
assessments of Module 2.
