(A) Preliminary activity

1. What would you do if you were one of the men? Explain why you decided to
act
that way?
-use the dynamite. The greater good is more important and more lives will be
saved with the dynamite. The impact will be lessened by the death of only one
person, unless you consider the unborn a person

2. The situation or the experience you went through is a moral dilemma. What
then
is a moral dilemma?
-conflicts between two or more rights or wrongs are known as moral dilemmas.
The difficulty that arises from having to choose between doing the right thing
and doing the wrong thing is a character dilemma rather than a moral dilemma.

Few, if any, moral norms may be accepted as absolutes, regardless of context.

In each event, numerous moral norms are likely to be in play. These guidelines
frequently highlight various outcomes and are in partial or total disagreement.

3. Is finding yourself in a moral dilemma, a moral experience? Why or why not?

-Moral dilemmas are situations in which a decision-maker must weigh two or
more moral values or obligations but can only honor one of them; as a result,
regardless of the decision, the individual will violate at least one important
moral concern. In a false dilemma, the choice is between right and wrong .
(b) learning task; and
A. in the first case it can considered a moral dilemma why? It is because the
bureaucrat suggested the trade of the 10 pc’s and in the case of Anne, she didn’t
contact first the top management in her home country so that she didn’t get the advice
or the instruction about what to do, what should she do? I think the only way she can
do is to restart the project that she do in her pc’s and also it is easy to do it again
because Anne cannot done yet in her project.
B. in that case Dr. Ken can poison his patient in order to prevent the spreading of a
HIV virus, we can say that this is a false dilemma it is because a right or wrong
decision no one wants to be infected a HIV so that he can do what is right.

C.in this case its's okay not to save the two because for what else? if you save
the two, nothing will happen, it seems like their affair will just happen again, but it
is possible that only your wife, the woman, can be saved, there is still a chance
that someone will change
D. What should I do? I just pass that student just imagine she has been very ill I
can pass the student because she's graduating, why would you stop him and
then she's already sick even though she's no longer in high honor, just pass
because if the student doesn't pass, she won't be able to go to other universities
because she said so, she will no longer be eligible to attend the prestigious
university that she has dreamed of attending all through high school.

(C) End of module assessment.

1. ACTIVITY; Do the divergent roads tell what a moral dilemma is? Explain your

answer.

-A moral dilemma is a moral conflict in which you are compelled to choose

between two or more possibilities, each of which has a moral justification to be
chosen or not chosen. In these instances, no matter what decision you make,
you inevitably end up surrendering some moral ideal. The divergence in real life
signifies a moral dilemma. The poet comes across a road that has forked into 2
and he/she has to select only one. He/she is a single entity that cannot travel on
both roads. We have to make our own choice in life whether we succeed or not.
2. What is a moral dilemma that you have experienced directly or
vicariously (from reading)? Are you happy with how you addressed the
moral dilemma you went through? Or do you agree with how the moral
dilemma that you read was addressed? Write your reflections.
- Do I have to follow the rules? I always want to fit in, it's human nature. We all
want to be at ease, welcomed, and loved. When it comes to gaining friends,
uniformity appears to prevail over individualism. To the untrained eye, social
skills and popularity appear to provide instant enjoyment, if you asked me if I’m
happy for addressing moral dilemma for me yes, because I learned a two sided
about the wrong and the right to do, and also it can explain a situation that
sometimes have a conflict of who is right and who is wrong.
