Creative Kids, Inc. planned curriculum is based on themes of interest,
development, and abilities of the children. We offer each child the freedom to
explore the various learning activities and interest centers that have been
prepared before his/her arrival.
We have a purpose for every activity. We challenge your child's thinking and
problem-solving ability. We supply many materials to foster creativity.
Our program is based on the theory that children learn best by doing and where
their natural curiosities are allowed to develop. We provide many sensory
experiences. Children learn by touching, feeling, seeing, hearing, etc. Our emphasis
is on the process, not the end product. We offer your child a variety of challenging
and fun experiences.

Parent Orientation
This is a meeting for parents only to review all regulations/procedures and to be introduced to
staff.
Parent Nights
There are several scheduled parent nights throughtout the year. Dates and times will be
posted in advanced. It is an informal time to help better understand your child's day. Topics
include: Creative Curriculum, Art, Books for Preschoolers, "Walk In My Footsteps" (where your
Creative Kid brings you to school for the evening).
Parent Conferences
One conference a year will be arranged for the teacher to communicate about your child's
progress. These conferences are usually scheduled during the spring. Other conferences will be
arranged upon requests by parents or teachers. Feel free to set up a conference with the
director at any time.
Daily Communication Sheets
This is a detailed daily information report explaining all activities. This report will be in the
child's cubby at the end of each day. A personal note will be added and any other daily
comments or reminders will be included. The daily sheet will also inform you if your child ate
lunch, took a nap, etc. Please use this report to talk with your child about his/her daily
experiences.
