Corporate Communications?

Corporate communications refers to the way in which businesses and organizations communicate

with internal and external various audiences. These audiences commonly include:

 Customers and potential customers

 Employees

 Key stakeholders (such as the C-Suite and investors)

 The media and general public

 Government agencies and other third-party regulators

Corporate communications can take many forms depending on the audience that is being addressed.
Ultimately, an organization’s communication strategy will typically consist of written word (internal
and external reports, advertisements, website copy, promotional materials, email, memos, press
releases), spoken word (meetings, press conferences, interviews, video), and non-spoken
communication (photographs, illustrations, infographics, general branding).

social intranet software?

More than a decade ago, social intranets arrived on the scene to modify corporate intranets through
the enablement of greater teamwork and knowledge sharing. Like the Web 2.0 technology that
preceded it, social intranet software emphasized social networking, user-generated content, and
cloud computing. And like Facebook and other social media sites, the social intranet featured
interactive functionality such as comments, likes, sharing, and team rooms.

Collaborative Digital Workspace

The collaboration aims to create communication channels that enable multiple parties to work

together towards a similar objective. In this digital era, collaboration is achieved in many ways,
including networks, applications, and telecommunication. Some of the common methods used to
enhance collaboration in a digital workspace include:

 Email

 Meetings (e.g., In-person, Calls, and Video-conferences)

 Instant Messaging (e.g., Microsoft Teams, AIM (RIP),

 Document Sharing solutions (e.g., File-shares, OneDrive, Box, etc.)

 Enterprise Social Networking (e.g., Yammer, Chatter, etc.)

 Team Workspaces (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.)

Unified communication
The term “Unified Communication” or “UC” describes not only how we connect
different communication systems for the digital workforce, but collaboration tools too!
That’s why you will often hear the phrase UC&C which simply means “Unified
Communications and Collaboration”.

Seamless UC ensures a higher level of interaction throughout the globally-dispersed

workforce. It breaks down the silos between enterprise teams, and ensures that no
matter where you work, you can still access the same secure system, equipped with:

In short, UC incorporates:

 Messaging
 Voice and video calling
 Team collaboration
 Video Conferencing
 File sharing

Video conferencing
Today, we are more connected to each other via technology than in-person. When it comes to
business, we use sophisticated and effective methods of communication. Video conferencing is one
type of distance communication tool where two or a group of people, sitting at different locations,
can connect visually and communicate. As employees have to stay indoors due to the coronavirus
pandemic, they are turning to mobile video conferencing apps to ensure the business is not
hampered. According to stats from leading mobile market data provider App Annie, video
conferencing and business communication apps saw record levels of downloads and rose to 62
million in March and April 2020. Nothing could have helped better than a video conferencing app
while embracing a work-from-home culture quickly.

Cloud service
It removes the communication limitations of traditional IT models and makes it much quicker and
easier for employees working in different locations to access information and collaborate with team
members and key personnel. This helps to streamline processes and means more work gets done in
less time.

5G
It encourages customer and business connection.Bandwidth speeds, latency, data capacity…these
are terms for machinery. 5G technology will drive innovation and pave the way for new tools and
opportunities for businesses, but it won’t automatically connect them to customers.

Business connection comes from communication, and the fundamentals of that won’t change.
Customers still want to have a conversation; they want to talk to another person who knows their
name and can help them solve a problem or find the perfect product.Sure, these conversations will
be done at a faster pace. The expectations for “responsive” and “personalized” will rise, but so can
the capabilities of a business when they use tools meant to encourage conversation and connection
with customers.

webRTC
In simple terms, WEBRTC is a plugin-free communication technology that allows access to devices
for real-time communication and media sharing. ... Today, WebRTC plays a fundamental role in
empowering businesses to boost their sales by allowing real-time interactions among employees as
well as customers and partners.

4K IMAGE FORMAT
 The greater the resolution is, the better the quality.

 The colour depth may reach 12 colour bits compared to the 10 usual ones of the Full HD.

 The H.265 Codec or HEVC used to process 4k duplicates the compression relationship of the
H.264 but maintaining the same quality.

 Camera, television and mobile phone creators are betting more and more for the 4K.
