1) Разберем предложение : I shouldn't have come home.
Мне не следовало возвращаться домой.
В случае, если что-то делать было нельзя, но ты это сделал,
употребляется форма: shouldn't have V3(третья форма глагола).
И наоборот, если надо было сделать, но не сделал: should have
V3.
Например: You should have called earlier. I was worried.

2) And we do insist on transcripts.


Сейчас мы разберем еще одно использование глагола do – для
усиления высказывания. Мы можем использовать его в
утвердительных предложениях, чтобы усилить значение
смыслового глагола (действие, о котором говорим). Такое
усиление do переводится на русский язык как
«действительно», «на самом деле», «все-таки», «все же»,
«точно», «обязательно».
Получается, данное предложение можно перевести, как: Мы
действительно настаиваем на копиях.
