ORDER,
As per Government order read above, Government have rescinded all the
restrictions, imposed under Disaster Management Act-2005, in connection
with the COVID-19 containment activities in the State. Now after analysing
the present COVID-19 scenar‘o in the Nation and the State, the undersigned
in his capacity as Chairman of the State Executive Committee of Kerala State
Disaster Management Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred under
Sec.20(3) of the DM Act-2005, hereby orders that wearing of masks in all
public places, gatherings, work places and during transport will be
compulsory in the State. Violation of above instructions shall be punishable
‘under the provisions of DM Act and other relevant laws in force.
