SUCCESS OR SATISFACTION
WALI ULLAH KHAN MARWAT
Why we're we born? Why we have been sent here to live on this planet earth? What was the theme of our
lives? What were the senses anpd beliefs that could had forced us to earn a happy life and happy ending?
These are the questions that are concerned and significant with life of a common average man, and above
all, the objectives based on existence of being of our TRUE SELF and to recognise our BEING,
mythology terms we often use for it are known as SUCCESS or SATISFACTION. we correlate with it
through two ways, either through TRUE SELF, when we are able to manifest what we want or through
CONDITIONAL SELF, when we have sight of source through CULTURAL, SOCIAL,
EDUCATIONAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONAL. in life what is more important? SUCCESS
OR SATISFACTION?
Every one is defining success differently because of rational assumptions and our life experiences make
our aspirations unique, As soon as we are born,we are given a name,a religion, a nationality and a race,we
have been indoctrinated into a system, that does not value our creative expressions,we have to remain
subdue completely and being merged into our parents attitude and then our parents try our best to engage
us in spending the rest of our life in defining a fictional identity.
Majority of people view success in terms of materials, when I was born, my father was worried for me,
when I was consistently achieving low grade marks in every academic exam, for example when I was in
2nd class, probably in 2000,i secured 8 out of 100 marks in urdu paper, and what was the emotional
perceiveness of this failure? My father replied, probably a lack of knowledge and skills not acquired over
proper time, when I moved to 4th standard class in 2002,i learned the meaning of success from my father
for the first time, to be part of the first class set, being able to spend freely, enjoy good things in your life,
being seen in stylish company and having a company of prettiest wife at the prestigious moments in life.
When I moved to class 5th standard, then I got 23/150 marks in entrance exam of islamia collegiate
School, Peshawar and what was the psychological impact of this failure? My father said lacking in self
esteem or psychological independence, even on another occasion, when I got just 6 marks out of 100 in
physics in 8th standard, my father expressed an annoyance and sinister and described himself a man of
character who spoke to me and conducted me through violation of doctrine. It was in 9th standard, when I
gained a tempo of good time in my life for the first time, when all I achieved good grades, then all my self
describe the meaning of success narrowly for the first time, success means simply by pleasing your
parents or meeting the expectations of others, and it was first year fsc, when I made an exclamation to get
the meaning of success for the first time in academic progress, success means having faculty of thinking,
abstract reasoning, cognitive and having conceptual understanding to love yourself as being different, out
of the ordinary, I think this sort of objection is valid only at the very highest mental level.
To others, the meaning of success is about obtaining power, about climbing the corporate or political
ladder. And some find success in building and running a profitable business of their own.Inheritance of
power and wealth in the Mughal empire was not determined through primogeniture but by princely sons
competing to achieve military success, these often led to rebellions and wars of succession, when Shah
Jahan started against his father, jehangir and then almgir against his own brother dara sheikh.
Others see success in spiritual terms. For them the meaning of success involves fulfilling their human
potential..It is about fulfilling a life purpose; making a contribution; making a difference.Alexander, the
King of Macedonia and one of the greatest military leaders in the history of warfare,Conquering 92% of
the known world and 96 out of 103 countries by the age of 25, Alexander the Great led his armies
through 22,000 miles of sieges and conquests in just 7 years. Coming out of tiny Macedonia, Alexander
led his armies against the mighty Persian Empire, drove west to Egypt, and finally made his way east to
India.Alexander's conquests paved the way for the spread of Greek culture and removed many of the
obstacles that might have prevented the expansion of the Roman Empire. In other words, the world we
know today might never have been if not for Alexander's bloody, yet unifying, conquest.
All the above foresaid meaning of success are based upon rational assumptions that humanity is at
downfall because our primogenitures had intellectual brains but had no hearts at all, so we'd be better off
stupid?
Now I would fine to determine success on SELF SENSE, being the greatest gift of humanitarians and
based upon a fact that correlates with being part of a loving family, and about maintaining deeply
satisfying relationships, correlates with either perception or abstract reasoning, for example if you ask a
child about meaning of success, then he will that he should have to play with toys and have a fun, and if
we ask from a teenager boy or girl, then their answers will be bound for the sake of good lookings, dating
and flirting and if you ask from a old man about meaning of success, then he will probably say that he
was born to earn a living, to save up money for his retirement and his family.
For many, success correlates about SELF SENSE and TRUE SOUL MATE to contribute something
worthwhile to their community or to a cause they believe in, Such a contribution may be local in scope,
Or it may be invlove a much larger political or social stage - including national or even world movements
such as those concerned with reducing world poverty and fighting for human rights. The holy prophet
Muhammad saw is the greatest humanitarian that ever existed on earth, all Muslims and non Muslims
have found his lifeway a continuous source of inspirations,. Even non Muslims of mecca knew him as
truthful and honest full, each aspect of holy prophet Muhammad saw exemplifies his perfectionism and
source of guidance for whole world because his life has been attributed to virtues that have been
showered upon him as gift from Almighty God. Subhanallah
