II - EQUIPMENT:
A – DRILLING RIG GENERAL
CHARACTERISTICS
• Suitable for mud and air down the hole hammer
drilling
• Rated capacity (300 m) with final hole diameter (12
¼ inch) and final casing (8 5/8 inch).
• The rig capable of providing free handling of (13 3/8
inch) API casing by hydraulic cylinders with chain
system for top head up and down travel.
• Deck mounted air compressor of discharge not less
than 950 cfm and pressure 360 psi.
• Deck mounted mud pump of maximum discharge not
less than 2200 L/min and max. Pressure 30 bar.
• Two independent drums for casing and auxiliary
winch furnished with non-rotating steel rope and all
hooks should be provided with safety latches.
• The rig should be provided with airline system for
rotary air drilling and down the hole drilling by
hammer unit. Capable to connect with deck mounted
compressor and auxiliary compressor.
• The rig should be provided with deck mounted foam
pump of suitable discharge and pressure.

B - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR AFTER SALE SERVICES AND TRAINING

The following requirements are to be considered an integral part of the technical specifications

The Tenderer must submit a detailed proposal of goods commissioning, after sale and training program:
 Maximum period of Execution is 360 days from contract introduction in the credit line for delivery to site and completion of all verification
operations required for the issuance of provisional acceptance, and training operations. The Contractor may arrange to make a series of Partial
Deliveries (against which partial provisional acceptances certificates may be issued) subject to all items being delivered within 360 calendar
days as above specified.
 Representatives of the Contracting Authority, provided with inspectors of the Inspection Company, together with the Contractor’s
representative, shall carry out the controls, testing for provisional acceptance operations. The first part of the provisional acceptance
operations shall take place in the Manufacturer factory, and the second part in the destination port indicated in the Instructions to Tenderers
where will be controlled that the goods arrived in the same conditions verified during the factory inspection.
 The Contractor must propose as part of its offer a detailed training program to the Beneficiary technicians for the use and maintenance of the
machines, equipments and goods. Said training will be executed care off the Manufacturer factories following the execution of the delivery
operations. During the delivery operations provided in the Port of Um Qasser – Iraq, a further training to the delegated technicians of the
Beneficiary will be assured in presence of the machines, equipments and goods.
 The Contractor must provide a warranty for one year (unlimited by distance) in full compliance with the provisions of Article 32 of the General
Conditions and Special Conditions of the Contract
 After-Sales Service: The Contractor is required to ensure that a maintenance, service and repair centre, which is authorised by the
Manufacturer, and which is able to rapidly supply genuine spare parts and consumables recommended by the Manufacturer is available within
the Republic of Iraq, throughout the one year warranty period or the period of the manufacturer’s commercial warranty (whichever is longer).
The Tenderer must describe in its offer the after sale service program he intend to propose.
In fulfilment of what above stated, and in case of an eventual requirement by the Contracting Authority, the Tenderers will submit a statement
containing the name and references of the local Dealer organisation, signed by a representative of the Manufacturer:

o providing the name and address of its authorised maintenance, service and repair centre within the Republic of Iraq

 o confirming that this authorised maintenance, service and repair centre is able to rapidly supply genuine spare parts and the consumables
recommended by the Manufacturer; and
o undertaking to ensure that the presence of a maintenance, service and repair centre authorised by it will be maintained on the territory of
the Republic of Iraq throughout the one year warranty period of the period of the manufacturer’s commercial warranty (whichever is
longer).
 For each delivered machine, equipment and good, according to the technical specifications, the Tenderer shall provide an instruction manual for
use and maintenance.
