Company’s Expansion & Vision.

● Establishment

The company was established in 2008 as a small home based business, from which we managed to
grow through quality control and word of mouth. A year later in 2009, the flagship restaurant opened in a
vibrant seaside area. The flagship location was a highly effective factor for the successful debut of the
restaurant. Since opening in its initial seaside location, many other restaurants followed suit and within two
years, the location became a busy neighborhood with many other small businesses and restaurants, which
ultimately helped shape a dynamic brand name for our establishment.

● Legal Entity

The restaurant was established under the license of HALA Company in the year 2008. After much
growth and development, Oishii has as of 2014 became its own entity, with independent licensing.

● Concept

The concept was initiated through a will to test our ability and capacity to produce top grade
Japanese dishes infused with a twist of modern flavors. Once the Oishii brand name was established, and its
association with quality products, we expanded our operations into the highly lucrative delivery market.
Currently we cover the whole country of Kuwait, with 10 cars owned by the restaurant.
Company’s Activities
● Main Kitchen & Warehouses

The company has two major kitchens; both support our business with high production capacity. Both
kitchens have state of the art equipment and a sterilized atmosphere, implementing only the highest of hygienic
standards.
The company owns two warehouses located in two different areas of Kuwait, equipped with state of
the art refrigeration systems to maintain the highly delicate ingredients. The warehouses are also able to handle
a variety of equipment, furniture, and other products.

● Dine-in Restaurant

After establishing our customer base through our flagship restaurant, and through the delivery
system, in January of 2013 we branched into our first real dine-in restaurant in Kuwait. The restaurant is
located in the heart of the city in a very popular spot for hip and trendy restaurant-goers including busy
employees in the area. Since Oishii’s opening in 2013 the place has become a very lively and robust
hotspot where three restaurants opened in the same neighborhood.
Company’s Expansion & Vision
● Expansion
The success of Oishii Sushi in Kuwait has in effect encouraged us to start seeking other suitable
locations to extend the brand name within the Gulf region.

● Branches & Vendors

● Al Salhiya Branch - Our first real dine-in restaurant. Flagship restaurant, with a counter for customers
and mainly dedicated for our phone/online orders, deliveries & pickups.
● O by Oishii - Our central kitchen produces and packs meals for our vendors to be sold at
supermarkets.
● OCafé – It’s the address of our first store in Kuwait. Started by a few people with an intense love for
coffee and a desire to share with others.
● Seeberger – Oishii being the sole agent of seeberger products in Kuwait, Providing healthy nutritional
snacks of dried fruits and nuts for every occasion.
In 2011 we started cooking and packaging selected items off our menu to have them delivered to selected hyper-
markets, universities and supermarkets around the country. Initiated as Oishii Sushi then rebranding to O by Oishii.

The packaged O by Oishii meals had a resounding impact on the market and great results were achieved
through this line of business. Through O by Oishii our customers have access to fresh sushi prepared daily for a
quick bite at the office, or a healthy on the go option. Other competing and much larger restaurants took notice and
started implementing this concept. We are aware that the this particular concept is not new and have been available
throughout the world and in Kuwait as well, however it wasn’t made by gourmet restaurants in Kuwait making O by
Oishii a pioneers in this field.
 Oishii being the sole distributer of Seeberger products in Kuwait, Seeberger Company based in Germany
provides a wide range of healthy and nutritional snacks of dried fruits and nuts with high- quality ingredients for
cooking and baking . Seeberger has something for every occasion – made from the best nature has to offer.

We joined Seeberger family in the year 2016 and have grown in Kuwait’s market and distributed in various
locations including hypermarkets, universities and supermarkets.
 OCafe started in the year 2016 by a few people with an intense love for snacks and coffee, and a desire to
share with others. Ocafé is an innovative café and snacks bar. We provide our customer with the highest quality,
most delicious snacks with their choice of hot or cold beverages.
