People believe that new technology has an impact on the form of human communcation in many
ways, both positive and negative. In my point of view, this problem should be considered from all
sides.

2. On the one hand, we take an advantage of communication technology. Firstly, smartphone and
Internet allow us to interact with each other without direct contact.

3. Some applications such as Skyppe have led to distance learning and working. Thanks to that, it not
only helps students get lectures from teachers in other countries, but also saves commuting time for
workers.

4. Furthermore, many people use social networks such as Facebook, Twitter to make friends and
keep in touch with relatives and acquaintances easily.

5. As a result, the convenience of social networks and smartphone have led to the disappearance of
handwritten letters in mordern society.

6. On the other hand, the negative side of high technology is a matter of concern. The development
of communication technology is undeniable. Nevertheless, commucation by email, smartphone or
video may lead to isolation of people and direct communication.

7. For example, many young people seem to prefer making friends online rather than paricipating in
social activities. Therefore, virtual relationships have gradually replaced their real-life relationships.

8. To sum up, technology has changed definitely the way people communicate, but not all of these
improvements have been positive.
