DLP PECsCharacteristics

The daily lesson plan is for a 7th grade class on personal entrepreneurial competencies. The objectives are for students to appreciate the importance of entrepreneurial skills and assess an entrepreneur's characteristics. The lesson will discuss the characteristics of entrepreneurs, including traits of achievement, planning, and power. Students will participate in an activity to share their strengths and weaknesses, and discuss entrepreneur characteristics. They will also match definitions to terms and identify which competencies fall under each cluster. The formative assessment will have students check competencies under the correct cluster. The reflection will evaluate student learning and determine if additional lessons are needed.

What is entrepreneurship?
a) Review What is an entrepreneur?
Give some importance of PEC’s.

Game: Pass the cabbage.


b) Motivation
The students will pass the cabbage while singing leron leron sinta and when the music
stops, the student who have the cabbage will share his/her strength and weaknesses to
the class.

Discuss the characteristics of an entrepreneur along with their respective cluster.


c) Presentation
A. Achievement Cluster (ability to accept change, committed, persistence, risk taker)
B. Planning Cluster (Future oriented, good decision maker, goal oriented)
C. Power cluster (Hardworking, profit oriented, willing to listen, disciplined, self
confidence, open to feedback, set own standards, build strengths, reliable and integrity)
