ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Name of Activity: MAHAY IS SPG ELECTION 2022

Date : September 9, 2022

I. Information about the Program:

The Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) aims to serve as a support of all other school
organizations. Its purpose is to exercise the rights, privileges as well as the duties and
responsibilities of the pupils therein, and to train them to become better citizens in the
future.

II. Narrative Summary:

To develop the pupils into well-equipped leaders who can take responsibility in
community services and to train them to become better members of the society, Mahay
Integrated School successfully conducted the SPG Election last September 9, 2022. The
activity was spearheaded by the school SPG coordinator, Mrs. Hazel H. Fabe. A total of 26
pupils from grade 3-6 participated the said event. There were two (2) participating party
list, KB (Kabataang Frontliners) and LODI (Leaders of Our Dearest Institution) and each had
12 officers aiming to be in the position they desired. Each candidate’s qualifications were
screened and verified.
The campaign period lasted two consecutive days wherein candidates introduced
their selves and presented the platforms they have that will help the school. Last
September 9, the election took place. The voting process started at 8:00 am until 12:00
noon with 314 pupil voters. After the smooth flow of the election, the ballots were
gathered and placed it in one room for the casting and counting of votes.
As the election was done, the SPG Election Commissioner, proclaimed the new set
of MIS SPG Officers for S.Y 2022-2023. After the announcement and proclamation, they were
told to stay for the Oathtaking Ceremony.

III. Accomplishment:
The SPG election wouldn’t be possible without the preparatory measures and
collaborative efforts of the SPG adviser and the assigned Commissioners from planning and
preparing of election paraphernalia to the process of implementation for the smooth and
successful election.

IV. Major Problems Encountered:

All is well.
V. Insights:

The best thing about this activity is that it help the pupils developed their leadership
skills, gain confidence as an individual and most especially it set the basics for unity and
cooperation.
