  I.       ACTIVITY (Motivation)
             THE PICTURE SOUNDS FAMILLAR
             Task Instruction:
                        1.  The teacher will ask the students to prepare a ¼ sheet of paper individually.
                        2.  The students have to identify the word that sounds similar to the pictures
                           flashed on the screen.
                        3. 10 seconds will be allotted for every category.
                        4. After 10 seconds, the students will check their own paper.
   II.    ANALYSIS
                     1. What are the words presented earlier?
                     2. Are you familiar with these words?
                     3. Where can you commonly find any of these?
   III.   ABSTRACTION
          (DISCUSSION)
                  1. The teacher will present the powerpoint presentation containing the lesson.
                  2. The students will have to identify the different hand tools, materials and
                     equipment in Nail care. The teacher will pick students randomly for recitation.
   IV.    APPLICATION
          Task: PICK AND TELL
          Task Instruction:
                 1. The teacher will present realia of the tools used in Manicure/Pedicure.
                 2. The teacher will ask a student to go in front one at a time.
                 3. The students’ task is to identify each tools properly.

             1. A nail technician, manicurist and pedicurist are nail care specialist.
             2. Manicure and pedicure are concerned with the care of the fingernails and toenails to
                improve their appearance and to prevent nail diseases and disorders.
             3. The qualifications of a nail specialist includes knowledge on the structure of hands,
                arms, nails and feet, different cosmetics used in nails, nail disorders and diseases,
                skills in good manicure and pedicure, in caring for nail problems and in relating well
                with patrons.
             4. There are varying tools and implements, equipment and cosmetics used in manicure
                and pedicure.
