Erlang C Table for Traffic Load

This table, known as the Erlang C table, shows the relationship between offered traffic load (A), number of traffic channels (C), and call queuing probability (PQ) in a trunked telephone system. The offered traffic load corresponds to the expected number of calls arriving per hour. The table allows one to determine the expected delay probability (PQ) for a given traffic load and number of channels. More channels reduces delay probability for the same traffic load. The table provides essential traffic engineering data to dimension telephone systems for a given quality of service.
