 PSO RELOADABLE CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions shall govern the application for and use of the card by the client and
the card holder:

A. DEFINITIONS:
1. PSO mean Pakistan State Oil Company Limited
2. PCD means PSO Cards Division, PSO department that deals and manages all cards
related issues, having its head office at 8th Floor, PSO House
3. Client means the company, organization or customer named in the application form that
has applied for and is principally responsible for the Card(s) and in whose name the
account exists;
4. Authorized Signatory means employee of the Client who is authorized on the Clients'
behalf to sign the application/requests and do all the correspondence
5. Card(s) means PSO reloadable card.
6. Cardholder(s) means the individual(s) nominated by the client to receive and utilize the
card. The Client shall be responsible for all the acts and omissions of the Cardholder
7. Service Charge means the fee which covers the processing, handling and other expenses
of PSO for processing card related transactions, payable by the Client (if applicable)
8. Ta'aluq Care Line/PSO Customer Services (PCS) means the department or section of PSO
that will handle all complaints and queries regarding Card(s) issue. PCS can be contacted
via Toll Free Number 0800-03000
9. PSO Customer Account Number means a single, unique code assigned to every client
against all the cards issued. This Customer Account number is mentioned on the
Statement of Account.

B. TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Card is issued by PSO and is property of PSO
2. By definition Card is Prepaid and the funds can be loaded onto your account, from
where funds can be distributed to card(s) within an account as and when required. Your
Card is not a credit card or a debit card, You can only spend upto the value of the funds
available on your card
3. Card can be used for the purchase of Petroleum Products, CNG, Lubricants or any other
products or service allowed by PSO at designated PSO outlets participating in Cards
Program.
4. For Commercial accounts, the registered entity shall not be entitled to claim/ adjust
input tax on purchase of fuel from PSO unless the goods/ fuel have been used/ will be
used for taxable supplies made/ or to be made by the Client.
5. PSO shall issue the invoice to the Client against the consumption made through
Commercial re-loadable Card as per the FBR guidelines.
6. In case of any dispute with FBR including any further tax exposure arising due to the
provision of sales tax invoice/ adjustment of sales tax, PSO at any time shall not be liable
for any financial and/ or contractual obligations directly or indirectly related to the issue
addressed in this agreement.

7. GST invoice shall be issued on Company name as mentioned on STRN.
8. CNG is not an allowed product on Commercial re-loadable card.
9. It is important that each Client provides PSO with accurate information. The Authorized
Signatory and the Client are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided
and are liable for the consequences in case of false, misleading or inaccurate
information.
10. PSO reserves the right to accept or reject the Client's application for a Card without
having to assign any reason.
11. Card issued is subject to an initial Annual fee (subject to change upon notification) which
will be adjusted from the amount loaded.
12. The Card is valid for five years from the date of issuance.
13. The Card will automatically be renewed unless given in writing about the cancellation of
the Card by the Client.
14. Client and/or Cardholder is responsible at all times to ensure and to verify his Card
before leaving the PSO outlet after use of the Card. PSO, its retail outlets and/or its staff
shall not be responsible in any event should the Cardholder/Client be in possession of a
Card not in their name or not belonging to them.
15. On receipt of the Card, the Cardholder shall immediately sign on the signature space
provided on the reverse of the Card.
16. In case, your card is stolen or lost, immediately mark the card as “Lost” via fuelink or by
calling at our toll free number 0300-08000 or 24/7 UAN 111-258-729. PSO shall not be
responsible for any liability arising on account of a Card's loss, fraud, misuse or
otherwise until written/verbal notification of loss is received by PSO at the PCD.
17. PSO may on notification of loss or damaged card, issue a replacement card as per
Client’s request, the charges for which will deducted from client accordingly
18. SMS and Email Alerts Service will be available for PSO reloadable Cards
19. PSO will not be responsible for any delay or unsuccessful delivery of any SMS/Email
Alert for any reason.
20. Long names may appear truncated in SMS due to limitation of SMS length (e.g. Amount
Name, PSO Retail Outlet Name etc.)
21. SMS/Email Alerts are for information purpose only and may not be used for
reconciliation purpose.
22. In case of any dispute, cardholder should inform PSO Cards Division within 48 hours of
receiving SMS/Email
23. Default frequency of Email Alerts is 24 hours (daily).
24. Client/Card Holder will load amount according to requirement at PSO’s designated Bank
branches.
25. The Client and/or the Cardholder permits PSO, its Personnel, agents or any other person
acting on its behalf to use the information contained in the application form for the
issuance of Cards database related activities
26. The requirement of the said confidentiality shall not apply in case of requirement of
disclosure by law or by any competent authority or where such information is already in
knowledge of PSO or its employees/agents, or where maintaining such confidentiality is
beyond the control of PSO.

27. Intellectual Property will remain property of PSO for the below list but not limited to:
i. Any software, mobile application or data supplied by PSO or any representative
of PSO in executing this arrangement
ii. Content of PSO website and all online services and material available on all PSO
medium
iii. Any material or software supplied by PSO during the course of this agreement
will be modified, transmit, distribute, reverse engineer, decipher, decompile,
disassemble, or reduce to human readable form
28. The Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with
the laws of Pakistan
29. PSO reserves the right to at any time amend add, delete, rescind, change and/or to vary
any of these Terms and Conditions.
