ZODIAC SIGNS:
Zodiac signs come from an imaginary belt of the heavens, extending 8° on each side of the ecliptic, within
which are the apparent paths of the sun, moon, and principal planets. It contains twelve constellations and
hence twelve divisions called signs of the zodiac. Each of the twelve signs falls into one of the four
elements. There are four elements in astrology known as; fire, air, water, and earth. Typically three signs
rule each of the four element seen below:
 Fire signs are passionate and exuberant.

Earth signs are practical and grounded.

Air signs are intellectual and curious.

Water signs are intuitive and emotional.

Yes we all have more than one sign in our astrological chart, and they may fall in the same elements or
different ones. Some even can have the same sign throughout their whole chart which is pretty
impressive. They are all equally important when it comes to knowing how the cosmos affect you.

The three main signs in astrology that can give you a vague idea of your true self, are the combination of
your sun, moon and rising sign. These are highly significant in your chart and rules over different parts of
your personality and overall “self”. Overall your whole astrological chart is significant information for
you to know, however knowing these three and understanding them will give you a fuller look at your
personal astrology than just reading your sun sign horoscope.

Sun sign— this is necessary for your existence. It represents your core personality/ center of you, sense
of self, basic preferences, and ways in which you move through the world. Qualities you are learning to
develop and become.
Furthermore: Day, father, ego, goals, arts, vitality, identity, yang, wants, shines, the leader.

Moon sign— this describes your instinctive and emotional nature. Feelings/mood and heart. This is who
you already are. Usually only people closest to you see this side of you.
Furthermore: Night, mother, instincts, behaviors, responses, feelings, emotions, yin, needs, contains, the

Ascendant/ rising— shows the way you project yourself, how others see you, and the kind of
experiences needed to make your life meaningful. This is the sign that rules the first house of your chart.
The version of you that people see at first place is usually this sign rather than your sun sign.

begins, the place.

It is important that you know your ascendant/rising, as this gives you a structure to your entire birth chart.
Once you have your ascendant, then you are able to find the corresponding planet listed below:

After you find your ruling planet, find it on your birth chart in order to give you a clearer idea of the
energy your chart ruler contains. For example:
 “I am a Virgo ascendant, my chart ruler is Mercury. In my birth chart, I have an Aries Mercury in the
7th house of marriage, relationships, love etc.”

The zodiac sign and astrological house that accompanies your ruling planet describes the nature of its
affect on your life. This affects your life because it describes the core of who you are. It shows the heart
of what matters to you the most.

What are Houses? Understanding them—

“Houses” or the astrological houses define the exact areas in your life your horoscope could be
referring to. Each house represents something unique—they determine the different types of people,
places, and life circumstances you could encounter in your lifetime. The following goes more into details
about each house;

1st House: “Personal brand” Mars ruled Aries

Governs your physical appearance, the image you portray and the first impression you make on
others.This could also describe the way you start something new. Key phrase “I AM”

2nd House: “Values” Venus Ruled Taurus

The house of money and material possessions. Includes your finances, personal belongings, and

Hello and thank you for taking the time to try out my template! I hope you enjoyed it and it was very
beneficial. Once you have this information filled in with your astrological birth chart, I highly recommend
researching more information about your placement of houses (for more in depth details) and what your
signs in each planet could mean! Learning the basics of this, can open your mind more about how
astrology works and how you as an individual adapt in this specific life time.

What I plan to do with this series is add to this google doc (not sure on dates/times yet) about astrology,
spirituality, crystals etc. I'm still new myself and learning the breakdowns of it all, so please be patient
about when new information will be updated, but follow me on this journey! Spirituality/astrology is
NOT a cult nor a trend, it is a lifestyle. You can be spiritual and not religious or you can be spiritual and
still follow a religion. OR maybe you just want to get into astrology. Whatever it is, let's practice being
