1. Why did you choose this course?

I chose Applied Project Management MSC course as it is designed to foster resilience, sustainability and
organizational trailblazing to prepare for the new global paradigm where change is the only consistency. This
course focuses on building the critical project management skills I need to thrive in software industry. These skills
can include developing cultural awareness, managing interpersonal conflict, and leading remote teams, among
others. From this I’ll learn to gain the various skills needed to accomplish the multitude of tasks required to get a
job done. Also, the course can improve my chances of achieving the desired result and gain a fresh perspective on
my project, and how it fits with my business strategy, prioritise my business resources and ensure their efficient
use, set the scope, schedule and budget accurately from the start of the project.

2. Please explain how the course content and modules are relevant to your experience and future career goals.

The modules in the course, Applied Project Management MSc are Principles of Project Management, Strategic
Portfolio Management, Team Dynamics and Leadership and Project Finance and Marketing.

I worked as a senior software engineer in many multinational organisations. Part of my role was to design and
develop code for the project. This course will enhance my skills in managing a project and resources associated
with the project.

This course will help me with pursuing my goal of becoming a project manager or a program manager. This course
has modules which will help me build leadership skills and develop team management skills. Understanding and
managing the project's financial and marketing aspects are also very important. This course will help me in
understanding those aspects as well.

3. How will your previous qualifications and /or work experience help you study this course?

I worked in software engineering industry for the past 10 years. The experience working with multiple clients,

team members and managers has created a base for me to purse this course on project management. I have

managed various aspects of project life cycle during my tenure as a software engineer. I also studied Computer

Science and Engineering as my Bachelor's degree. There were quite a few modules in it which helped me to

understand the basics of Project Management. Hence my previous educational qualification and work experience

are supportive of learning the modules of this course in Applied Project Management.

4. What advantages/benefits will studying in the UK give you in your post study plans?

The quality of education and academic excellency are some of the main factors that make the UK one of the most

The education system in United Kingdom is accepted and recognized for providing world class education. The

education and academic is frequently assessed, and the educational guidelines are met.UK universities offers short

term courses which saves both money and time and with affordable tuition fees and living expenses. They

welcome international students from across the globe with warmth where I’ll get an opportunity to experience

multi culture and diverse environment.
