Chapter 1 Introduction
The built-in dot matrix LCD display provided with apheliotropic board ensures the clear show of all
test results, functional status and operational instruction. The English indication system guides
users’ operation, and improves man-machine communication.
s) Environment condition:
1
DR-7000D Semi-automatic Chemistry Analyzer
There are two biohazard marks on the equipment, one is Biohazard mark, another is Force
electricity mark, they are all on the backboard of the equipment. As shown in Figure 1-1.

There might be a potential infectivity for the sample & waste reagent, please make sure to take
protection action during the testing, cleaning process and instrument maintenance.
Samples and waste reagent should be disposed in a suitable package conforming to the local
regulation for laboratory.

The principle diagram of the electronic system is shown above in Figure 2-2. When passing
through the monochromator the ray of the lamp-house will be changed into monochromic light. The
result will be then received by the photoelectric detector when it passes through the flow
colorimetric cuvette, and further transformed into electric signal. The signal will be amplified and
filtered, and then transmitted into A/D transformer. When the information is transformed into
numbers, it will be sent into data collection system of the computer for kinds of calculation and
transaction. Users can either read the final result on the display or alternatively get it printed out.
2.2 Functions
1.Measurement methods :
a) End-point b) Two-point kinetic
c) Kinetic d) Absorbance
e) Multipoint
2. Internal and external printer is available for uses’ options.
3. Sampling volume, test method is programmable.
4. Users can determine whether to execute real time print out of the test results.
5. If any operational mistakes or other false results are found during the process of measurement,
users can choose the repeat key (“●”) to retest, the original serial number of the test remains.
6. Rinsing program is available between two sample tests to avoid cross contamination.
7. Up to 1 month quality control tracking, and the printing results provided.
8. Integrated test report printing is available.
9. Reaction curve display:
Reaction curve for sample and standard liquid will be displayed on the screen during the testing, as
shown in Figure 2-3.

B . Keyboard
The keyboard comprises 19 key-presses, i.e. 12 number keys (including ± and radix point), 5
functional keys and “EXIT” and “ENTER” keys.
Number key — Entering into submenu or numeric parameter input.
ENTER — Press to confirm the executive command.
EXIT — Press to return to the former menu.
F1 — F5 (Functional key) — Press to execute the relevant functions indicated in the five small
squares at the bottom of the display.
C. Buzzer
1. As the key-press on the control board is made of pellicle without clear tactility, buzzer reproducer
is used to help inform operator as soon as the key-press is touched.
2. The buzzer will remind the user to move the sample away once the equipment finishes sampling.
E. Printer
Both of internal printer and external printer are available for the instrument. The user can select one
of them for operation. There are 3 status optional: ON, OFF and AUTO. Real-time printing is
available once select AUTO status.

better to use 95% alcohol to rinse the pipette in order to avoid frost crack.

Appendix E
1. Installation
The bar code reader is the optional spare parts for DR-7000 series semi-automatic chemistry
analyzer, there is a serial port on analyzer back board for it installation. The operation is very easy,
operator only need to insert the bar code reader connector plug into the proper serial port.
Notice: The equipment should be powered off before bar code reader installation.
2. Operation
(1) The bar code reader could read Code-39, Code-128, EAN-8, UPC-E and Inter leaved 2 of 5 bar
code automatically and the total digit for the bar code number should not more than 10 letters,
otherwise, it will not workable.
(2) The operator could do the scan operation before each test (ID should be setup ON) and then the
bar code number will be saved into ID number. There is only one bar code number for each
sample, therefore, it is only need to scan one time for the same sample or the equipment will save
the last scan one as the final one.
(3)The bar code reader belongs to far-distance Reader, the operator only need to aim the scan point
at the barcode number and then press the trigger, so that, the real-time bar code info will be
shown on the screen.
(4)The bar code reader reads the barcode by the light line center on the top of it, to avoid mistakes,
the light line should cover the whole barcode and keep proper bevel with the trigger before
reading.
Instrument could connect EPSON LQ300K+ stylus printer. (Other type stylus printer can be used as
well, but it may cause some change in print speed and character position.)
