Electronic Car Horn

This document describes the construction and operation of a 2-note electronic car horn circuit. It uses 3 ICs - IC1 and IC2 generate tones of 400Hz and 200Hz, modulated at 1Hz by IC1. IC3 is a power amplifier. It can operate from 6-18V and delivers about 4W to a speaker. Care must be taken in assembly regarding polarity and heating. The circuit can also be used as a novel doorbell by powering it from a battery eliminator switched by a bell push.
