maayos ang kamay upang lumikha.
WORK PERIOD 1
Preparation
Review past lesson which is about the Members of the Family.
Motivation Sing the song “Finger Family”
*Integration-Music
After singing the song teachers ask the pupils to name the members of the family.
Lesson Proper
Teachers show different pictures of the family. Ask 3 pupils where he/she
belong to the family picture. Lead the learners in discussing who has more family
members. After the presentation. Teacher introduce letter Mm by using names of
the members of the family start the name with letter Mm. Teacher arrange the
pictographs from the least number to the greatest and lead the learners in
comparing who has more, less, or equal number of family members.
Group pupils into 3.
Group I
More, less, and equal pattern.
Group II
Paste picture begins with letter Mm in the Paper.
Group III
Color the family picture.
*Give each group different clap after every activity.
POINTS INDICATORS
5 Shows eagerness and cooperation to do the task, participation actively, do great help
to the group.
4 Shows eagerness and cooperation to do the task, good follower only.
3 Participate but late, with teacher’s supervision.
2 Activity was done but does not show eagerness to participate or cooperate.

Objectives: To recognize and identify numbers.
Materials: pictures of objects familiar to the children
(Note: Choose pictures of objects they used in school.)
Procedure: 1. Hold up the pictures and ask the children to say the name
of each picture.
2. Tell to count each picture named.
3. When the children figure out each picture, hold up the
picture and have the children repeat the name of the
picture and count again.
Independent/Malayang Paggawa:
1. Egg Shell Mosaic
Objective: to develop fine motor coordination
Materials: activity sheets, eggshells, scissors, glue
Procedure: 1. Let children help cut pieces of eggshell.
2. Put some glue on the activity sheets.
3. Ask them to cover the picture with the eggshells.
4. Let them set aside their mosaics to dry.
2. Number Collage
Objectives: to recognize number
Materials: activity sheets, torn or cut out pieces of art paper/old
magazine
Procedure: 1. Give the children a piece of activity sheets.
2. Ask them to tear or cut out pieces of art paper/old
magazine.
3.Paste the art paper/old magazine on the activity
sheets.
3. Writing Papers/Pagsusulat
Objectives: to learn sequence to observe the form of each
numeral to develop eye-hand coordination
Materials: writing papers (with number dot patterns for each
numeral), crayon
Procedure: 1. Each child is given a writing paper with the numeral
he/she is working on.
2. Children use a crayon to connect the dots of the
number patterns.
4. Playdough
Objective: number formation
Materials: playdough
Procedure: 1. Put the number cards on the table.
2. Have each child pick out a number and put it in
front of him/her.
3. Then have him form this number out of playdough.
4. Have children display the numbers they can form.
