Ans:- (i) Playing surface means the surface upon which a sports is played significant impact
      There are different playing surfaces like natural grass, artificial grass, wooden,
      cemented, artificial turf rubber, PVC, Polymeric synthetic sponge and cinder etc.
      these different surfaces have a significant impact on the player’s experience. Some
      surfaces provide a higher level of comfort for the players and other make some
      playing much more difficult. This is because different surfaces have different
      purpose.
      (ii). Traditionally sports were played on natural grass surface but grass surface need
      high maintenance acitivities like mowing, irrigation and control of weeds, pests and
      diseases. Thus in 1960 artificial was used by some sporting Organizations.
      (iii). These new surface provided more durability and versatility with the intention of
      providing a relatively easy to maintain indoor surface.
