Edelbrock Supercharger
Service Procedure
PLEASE study these instructions carefully before beginning this supercharger service procedure. It is highly recommended
that you be familiar with and comfortable working on your vehicle before attempting this procedure. If you do not feel
comfortable performing this service procedure, it’s highly recommended to have the supercharger serviced by a qualified
mechanic. If you have any questions, please call our Technical Hotline at: 1-800-416-8628, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Pacific
Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
Proper supercharger removal, installation and servicing is the responsibility of the service mechanic and/
or installer. Improper removal, installation and servicing may result in poor performance and supercharger,
engine and/or vehicle damage.
Supercharger Service Procedure
1. Removal of the supercharger is highly recommended to properly service the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger.

2. With the supercharger removed, use a 3/16” Hex tool to remove the oil fill plug on the rear of the supercharger (See
images below). DO NOT REMOVE THE SUPERCHARGER’S REAR COVER! DOING SO WILL CAUSE OIL LEAKS IF NOT
PROPERLY INSTALLED.
3. Using a syringe, or equivalent, syphon out all of the old supercharger oil. NOTE: The supercharger is filled with
approximately 125-150ml of supercharger oil from the factory. Oil levels will diminish over time.
4. REPLACE WITH RECOMMENDED SUPERCHARGER OIL ONLY. (SEE CHART BELOW.)
WARNING - DO NOT use any other types of oil besides the recommended supercharger oils below.
Failure to do so may result in damage to the supercharger.
5. Inspect the o-ring on the oil plug and replace if necessary. Replacement o-rings (Parker Viton 3-904) can be purchased
from your local Russell Performance dealer (P/N 651030). Reinstall the oil plug and torque to 8 ft/lbs. Reinstall the
supercharger. NOTE: Oil plug locations will vary between supercharger models.
