Instructions
● Take a look at the word cloud above. You
will notice that there are other roles
attached to it related to the main terminology,
"ORGANIZATION" (the biggest wo the cloud).
● In a piece of paper, draw a table with
two columns. In Column 1, write down as
many
related words (not included in the cloud) to the
main terminology as you like. In Column 2,
write your personal reason why you think each
word you wrote in Column 1 is related to the
concept of the main terminology.

Instructions
Enumerated below are the unique
features or emphasis of each of the
organizational structures you have read earlier
in this chapter. Identify the organizational
structure being described by each feature.
Use the following codes for your answer.

ACTIVITY - 3 “ CREATE YOUR OWN CHART!”
Instructions
Using actual observations, office visits, books,
magazines, periodicals, the Internet, and other
literature, research and get a copy of the
organizational charts of an organization or
company of your choice under each of the
following categories:
● Your college or university administration
● A student organization within your
campus
● A student organization outside of your
campus
● A large corporation within the country
● A local government unit (LGU) within your
community
Once you have obtained these organizational
charts, replicate each of them as a visual aid.
Compare and contrast these charts by
answering the following questions:
1. What type of organizational structure is
represented by each organizational chart?
2. Who is involved in top-, middle-, and first-level
management?
3. Who has the highest authority in the
organization based on the chart?
4. What hierarchical or reporting relationships
may be observed from the chart?
5. Can you observe any inconsistencies or
duplication of duties based on the charts?
Note:
● Write your answer in a piece of colored
paper or sticky note (optional) and paste
it on the upper left part of your
organizational chart.
