Cherry Ann G. Gordon is a teacher at Maryknoll High School in Asuncion, Davao del Norte. She graduated cum laude from the University of Mindanao with a degree in Biological Science and was a top scorer on the Licensure Examination for Teachers. As a teacher, she is known as the "science wizard" for her ability to teach science comprehensibly to her students. Though teaching was not initially her career choice, she finds fulfillment in motivating her students and focusing on improving herself each day rather than dwelling on uncertainties of the future.

A contemplative and artistic woman was born on May 1, 1999, and currently
teaching at Maryknoll High School of Asuncion. She is Cherry Ann G. Gordon presently
living in Cambanogoy, Asuncion, Davao del Norte. Her educational attainment starts at
Cambanogoy Central Elementary School along with Asuncion National High School for
her secondary school, and she graduated as a cum laude at the University of Mindanao
Tagum College with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological
Science and toped the Licensure Examination for Teachers. 
   
        Mrs. Cherry Ann is one of the scintillating-gleaming teachers at Maryknoll High
School of Asuncion, Inc. She is known as the "science wizard" for Grade 9 considering
the fact that she teaches magnificent and comprehensibly in Science subject. She is
more than a teacher; she is an aesthetic, poetic, and chiliastic person. Her uplifting
journey of becoming a teacher and enlightenment motivates her students, even though
being a teacher was not her first choice. She is one of those independent women who
cares for others and focuses more on the present “What we are doing now, will become
our future. So focusing on what’s in front, rather than living in the future where it is yet
uncertain, is essential to achieve your dreams” she said. Behind all the
accomplishments in her life, she endured herself to be an ameliorated person, to strive
for the preeminence of others, and to focus on her path along the way, she has a bright
future ahead of her.
   
       Ms. Cherry Ann is also tenacious, versatile and simple because she is not one of
those people having very ambitious goals in life, her dreams are quite simple and
unpretentious that made her contented and already grateful for the little things that  she
achieved in her life. This attitude helps her to continue  to live simple and really work
hard for her, even if there are things that she regret or have failed to achieve, She truly
believes that there are reasons behind it, maybe it is meant to happen because she is
meant for something better. She firmly believes that although it’s great to look ahead,
envision the future, and have dreams, no one will definitely get there if he/she is not
living the present. She doesn’t bothered by misfortunes that happened in her life but she
focus to  strive to be  a better version of herself today than today’s yesterday.
