Shares
In financial markets, a share is a unit used as mutual
funds, limited partnerships, and real estate investment
trusts. Share Capital refers to the total shares of an
enterprise. The owner of shares in the company is a
share-holder of the corporation. A share is an
indivisible Unit of capital, expressing the ownership
relationship between the company and the
shareholder. The denominated value of a share is its
face value and the total of the face value of issued
shares represent the capital of a company, which may
not reflect the market value of those shares. There are
different types of shares such as equity shares,
preference shares, deferred shares, redeemable
shares, bonus shares, right shares, and employee stock
option plan shares.
Dividend
The income received from the ownership of shares is a
dividend. When a corporation earns a profit, it pays a
proportion of it as a dividend to shareholders. A
corporation is usually, prohibited from paying a
dividend out of its capital. Distribution to shareholders
may be in cash or if the corporation has a dividend
reinvestment plan amount can be paid by issue of
further shares or by share repurchase In some cases,
the distribution may be of assets A dividend is
allocated as a fixed amount per share with
shareholders receiving a dividend in proportion to their
shareholding. For joint- stock companies, paying
dividends is not an expense; rather it is the division of
after-tax profits among shareholders. Public companies
usually pay dividend on fixed schedule, but may
declare a dividend at any time called special dividend
to distinguish it from fixed schedule dividends.
Cooperatives on the other hand, allocate dividend
according to member’s activity, so their dividends are
often. Considered to be a pre-tax expense.

National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) is the

street in Mumbai (Bombay). Established in 1875, it is
the oddest stock exchange in South Asia, and also the
tenth oldest in the world. The BSE is the 9th largest
stock exchange with an Overall market capitalization of
more than 22, 18,730 billion. In 1986, the BSE
developed the S&P BSE SENSEX index, giving the BSE a
mens to measure the overall performance of the
exchange. The BSE is also a partner Exchange of the
United Nations sustainable stock Exchange initiative,
joining in September, 2012.
3) NIFTY:
The NIFTY 50 is a benchmark Indian stock Market Index
that represents the weighted average of 50 of the
largest Indian companies listed on the National stock
Exchange. It is one of the two main stock indices used
in India, the other being the BSE SENSEX the NIFTY was
launched on 22nd April, 1996. It has shaped up to be
the largest single financial product in India, with an
ecosystem consisting of exchange-traded funds,
exchange – traded options at NSE, and futures and
options. abroad at the sGx. It is the world's most
actively traded contract. It covers 13 sectors of the
Indian economy and offers investment managers
