GENERAL GUIDELINES

SK Punong Grande Inter-purok Basketball League Tournament 2023

1. ONLY bonafide residents of Barangay Punong Grande Bo.2 is allowed to play.


2. Certification from purok president to confirm the official purok team members is
required.
3. All teams must submit requirements on April 19,2023(1pm-4pm at SK Hall).
4. There will be two (2) category; Midget ages 12-16 years old and Junior-Senior ages
17 and above.
5. NO ENTRY FEE.
6. All line up submitted is final. Adding and changing is prohibited.
7. Players who found out under the influence of liquor cannot play in the game.
8. All approaches should be done in a courteous and calm manner.
9. If any players commit an act that disqualifies him during any game, he is no longer
allowed to play for the whole duration of the tournament. However, if players
commit a technical or unsportmanship foul he will be punished a one (1) to three
(3) games suspension.
10. There will be presentation of players before the start of any game.
11. The players must be in Team T-shirt or Team Color Shirt, or shorts pants, and
rubber/sport shoes. NO MAONG Pants or MAONG shorts and wearing of slippers
are NOT Allowed.
12. Team with incomplete players/participants in 15 minutes given time from the
last call will NOT BE ALLOWED to play and will automatically get a score of zero
(0);
13. If bad weather will occur, the game will be re-scheduled (Management has the right
to decide).
14. Misbehavior of players would mean disqualification (e.g. intentional
hitting/inflicting physical pain to the opponent)
15. There should be a team captain and a coach. Only the team captain and/or the
coach are allowed to question or clarify the decision of the referees and/or umpires.
16. In the absence of the coach, the team captain has the authority to act as the playing
coach.
17. There will be 15 minutes waiting time before declaring a team “WINNER BY
DEFAULT”
18. Address your protest to the Sports Committee.
19. PROTEST;
1. A team must submit a formal written protest to the technical committee after the
end of the game within 12 hours period.
2. The written protest should give a monetary deposit amounting to 500 pesos as
security. After the management will found out that the protest is rightful and valid,
the deposited amount of 500 pesos will be back to the protesting team. If the
complaint is invalid, the deposited amount will go to the fund of committee.
20. The overall chairman is the ONLY person who will entertain any complaints from
both teams.
21. The technical committee is the Committee on Sports and Development ,
Sangguniang Kabataan Officials and the SK Chairperson.
22. Betting is not allowed.
