Audience Profile

Sean McCool is a 47 year old man who has four


children and he lives with his wife and two of his
kids. He is from Ireland but now lives in England.
He has lived in England for 20 years and he works
in a company called Fire Main. He sells fire pipes to
firemen and he works in an office his company is
based in St Helens in Cheshire. On the ABC1
Profile he is C1 because he isn’t a professional in
his job and he is not the manager of the company
he works for. Although he does help other people
below him.

In his spare time he likes to play golf with his friends


and he plays football too on the weekends. He also
likes going to the pub because that is where his
social life is. When he plays golf with his friends he
feels free and he plays every sunday. He also likes to go to the cinema to see
new movies that he likes. His favourite actor is Clint Eastwood. His favourite
genre is Action Sci-Fi and his favourite movie is Star Wars because he likes
the thrill of it and the fight scenes. He also likes Peaky Blinders because of the
gory and the storyline.

He gets money from working full time and he spends most of his money
providing for his family and helping his wife pay for house bills, taxes, car and
travel costs and other day to day living costs and caravan costs. He has a
caravan in Wales and he pays for it to be cleaned and when he and his family
go to Wales they pay to have the caravan put on the field.

He takes his family on holiday abroad every year in August.This summer he


took his family to Malaga in Spain and they stayed in an apartment because of
Covid 19 they had to go to Wales for the past two and half years because they
couldn't go abroad because of the rules. He loved going to Wales because it
was a nice family bonding holiday.

He used to shop at Sainsbury’s but because of the living crisis and how it is so
expensive he shops at and he goes grocery shopping once a week. Sean
McCool likes to read Empire because he has an interest in films such as Star
war, Indiana Jones and Peaky Blinders. He used to read Empire all the time
but recently they have gotten more expensive.Sean McCool likes a range of
different films. His favourite genre is Action Sci-Fi and his favourite movie is
Star Wars because he likes the thrill of it and the fight scenes. He also likes
Peaky Blinders because of the gory and the storyline.

Sean likes Empire because he finds it interesting because it tells the audience
about the writers and the producers. He also likes to know what movies are
coming out in the cinema especially Sci-Fi because that’s his favourite genre.
He’s watched all the Star Wars movies more than 10 times because one of his
sons loves Star Wars too. He likes the advertisements in the magazines
because it makes him more invested and wants to know more.
