The School Planning Team at San Esteban High School met on June 09, 2019 at 1:00pm to discuss problems identified in the School's data and begin identifying priority areas for improvement. SUMMARY FOCUSED GROUP DISCUSSION

DATE: June 09, 2019


TIME: 1:00pm
School Planning Team collaborated last June 09, 2019 at exactly 1:00 P.M.to discussed the
the data needed in the School Improvement Plan. They talked about the problems of the students
in their education and the projects and programs they have implemented
after gathering all the data needed, they started to identify the Priority Improvement Areas.

PROBLEMS:
 There are some of the learners who are non-readers and non-numerates based on the data
of the Phil-IRI and Project-AN.
 Insufficient learning space and learning materials
 Not enough toilet and lavatory facilities
 Some of the classrooms are submerged with flood
 There is no entrance gate in SHS site
 The pathway is flooded
 Classrooms are not well ventilated
 No internet connectivity that the learners could use in their research

The SIP committee would schedule a meeting for the projects that would be implemented
based on issues and concerns that were discussed

School Planning Team collaborated last June 09, 2016 at exactly 1:00 P.M.to discuss
the data needed in the School Improvement Plan. They enumerated all the issues and concerns of
learners that they encounter in the school that would be addressed in CI projects to be
implemented.

PROBLEMS:
 Insufficient family’s financial resources to provide all the learners’ needs
 There are some learners who are indecisive and confuse on what course they would take
after high school
 There are classrooms that needs renovation and elevated.
 The school have insufficient comfort rooms
 Absence of library
 There is no internet connection that would help the learners in their research

The SIP committee would schedule a meeting for the projects that would be implemented
based on issues and concerns that were discussed
