ANSWERS:
Home economics is commonly referred to as applied science. Home economics has traditionally
focused on teaching students how to handle the problems and difficulties that come with being a
homemaker because the home and family have traditionally occupied a significant portion of a person's life.
A person can create a realistic household budget, plan and prepare wholesome meals, select a fabric for
draperies, and take care of a young infant with the aid of a basic understanding of home economics. Home
economics is often called practical science because practical activities are extremely important for learning.
Students are engaged, which helps them gain essential skills, comprehend the methodology of scientific
inquiry, and gain a comprehensive comprehension of scientific ideas.
Home Economics is necessary as a field of specialization of the Teacher Education Program because
home economics empowered students all over the world by learning essential life skills that occasionally
cannot be gained from textbooks or parents. Most importantly, knowledge gained in home economics
classes gives students the confidence and positive reinforcement they require.
People frequently associate home economics with women only when they hear about cooking or
sewing lessons. Many people, however are unaware of the full scope of this subject of the study and how it
affects student’s daily lives. Students exhibit their knowledge of topics including making meals for person
with diverse dietary needs of ethics origins, as well as cooking food that is morally and environmentally
  responsible in home economics.
It is necessary as a field of specialization, I firmly believe that home economics play a crucial role
in today’s educational system. This academic field includes as many important life skills in its curriculum
that will help students thrive regardless of the career routes they choose.
  C. As a future teacher, how will you be a professional worthy of emulation to your own family, your
co-workers and to the community belong?
  Answer:
Teachers play an important role in society. Being able to be a professional worthy of emulation means
having the qualities that the people will be worthy to follow. True models are persons who exhibit the
characteristic we aspire to have and who have an impact on us that motivates us to improve. They assist us
in standing out for ourselves and taking the initiative on the causes we are passionate about.
As a future educator, indeed the only thing we have to offer is ourselves. The outstanding teacher
explains, demonstrates and inspires. Introducing formal mentorship obligations is one strategy to promote
the standard of emulation in our educational initiatives. A mentor serves more as a confidante, coach, and
role model as a teacher. A mentor can act as a quasi-official representative of the informal curriculum,
providing students with a resource to turn to for advice when faced with ambiguity. Mentoring frequently
functions best in a relaxed setting, like over a meal, where learners may feel more at ease discussing topics
like resolving interpersonal conflicts, juggling personal and professional obligations, and deciding between
potential career options. As a future teacher in my opinion to be a professional worthy of emulation requires
me three things learn to accept failure, always aim for betterment and always go for being kind. As a future
teacher I know how to accept failure
Whenever in my family, co-workers and community I belong. Learning to accept failure is normal part of
life and a part of the process of learning. Frequently, those who succeed the greatest also experience the
most failure. Every failure is a reminder that you can always do better. Always aim for betterment, change
should always be for betterment. You should teach people how to develop their skills that can brought a
huge contribution to the society and the world as well. Moreover, to be a professional worthy of emulation
as a future teacher is always be kind. In my opinion this is the most important quality for an individual to be
a worthy of emulation. Not everyone is kind but you can always be kind.

  2. Given below is a list of areas/appliances. Suggest the kind of maintenance services required
  for each.
    I. Fan
⮚ Cleaning the blades and the grille are relatively simple and can be done with a cloth and some soapy
water. Caring for the motor is a bit more complicated and will require some basic knowledge of
electrical circuits. Use a clean microfiber cloth to thoroughly wipe away the dust. To clean the area
around your motor, do not use water. To remove dust between bars, spray compressed air on the
plastic vent on the back and place it on the ground.
       II. Tap
⮚ Taps must must be cleaned using neutral detergents, and aggressive cleansers should be avoided
because they frequently include toxic ingredients such sodium hypochlorite, amino acids, acetic acid,
or hydrochloric acid. Also to be avoided are abrasive detergents and foams.
       III. Gas Stove
⮚ So that little grease accumulates, clean the grate and the area underneath it at least once a week. Take
your stove totally apart once a month or at least twice a year and soak or scrub each component. It is
strongly advised that you only clean your gas stove using vinegar and dish soap. Dish soap is a
medium-strength base, whereas vinegar is a moderate, non-toxic acid. The burner channels on gas
       stoves must always be kept clean;
⮚ this is the most crucial piece of advice. A little labyrinth of metal channels can be seen if the burner cap
is removed and/or the burner is turned upside down. These control the natural gas flow from each
burner's valve so that an even ring of flame appears under your pots and pans.
       IV. Mixer Grinder
⮚ After each use, properly clean it. Make sure your jars fit precisely inside the blades. Set a weekly
schedule for cleaning the equipment and the jars. Take care when using the ingredients. Using
materials that are too hot could seriously harm the jars. Use just the recommended jewelry. Assign the
machine a proper location in the kitchen.
       V. Pipe
⮚ You must be aware of the location of the difficulty before working on pipes. Repair work starts as soon
as the issue is identified. One of the most popular techniques involves wrapping a composite material
around an existing pipe and resealing it.
       VI. Wall
⮚ Walls should be cleared of dust and debris. Additionally, it guards against indoor air pollution and
surface deterioration of the wall. Dust and dried dirt can be removed from a surface with a feather
⮚ duster or a dry cloth. Cleaning and removing stains from walls in the house relies on the paint used and
       the texture of
the walls. Avoid rubbing too vigorously on the wall when cleaning it since you could leave a stain or
erase the paint texture. To clean the wall, use water and a fresh sponge. Re-paint your previously
painted wall and repair any wall damage. Protect the wall from seepage or moisture.
       VII. Window pane
⮚ Even after completing all of that, if your window is still getting stuck, the tracks definitely need some
lubricant. After cleaning, lubricate them with a silicone-based product to make sure everything
functions as it should. Reduce condensation by routinely cleaning the windows. The moment you see
       window damage, fix it.
       VIII. Air Conditioner
⮚ Removing debris/foliage, Vacuum the coil fins, Cleaning the coil fins and Cleaning the evaporator coil
