l.     Objectives
       At the end of the lesson, the students will able to:
       A. Identify Singular and Plural numbers
       B. Familiarize the Rules of Number nouns
       C. Use Singular and Plural numbers in sentence

       Topic: Properties of nouns; types of number (Singular and Plural)

III.   Procedure
       I. Preparatory of Activities
               Greetings
               Prayer
               Checking of Attendance
       II. Review
                Last meeting, the teacher tackled the 2 types of nouns (common and proper). And now,
       teacher will proceed to another lesson that’s connect to nouns which is the Properties of nouns in
       terms of number.
       III. Motivation
                 The teacher prepared a short exercise for the students to know the types of the number
       nouns. This activity called “Jumbled Word” the way it works is that you will fix the words given and
       write it on the blackboard. After that teacher discuss the definition of this words.

       Plural number- used when the noun refers to more than one item.
                Example: pens, tables, aunts, fathers, geese
       Singular number- It refers to the count of only one of nouns.
                Example: pen, table, aunt, father, goose
       A. Introduction
                      As the teacher note, the teacher will group the students into two pairs and
                       identify the given 20 words whether it’s plural or singular number that be flash on
                       the screen (ppt).
                      After they answering, the teacher must ask the class if they really understand the
                       plural and singular number.
                  B. Lesson Proper
                  1. Discussion
                                     Based from the previous activity, the class will now divide into 5 groups. For
                                      them to prepare for the other lesson.
                                     The teacher will discuss the different rule of number nouns
                                     The 1st group will report the rule # 1 of number nouns, the 2nd rule is for group 2,
                                      the 3rd rule is for group 3, 4th rule for group 4 and last is rule 5 for group 5.
                                     After 5-7 minutes of collaboration, each group through a representative will be
                                      given 2-3 minutes to present their output.
                                     After the group presentation, the teacher will sum up the lesson by
                                      presenting a power point presentation to the class.
                  2. Developing Mastery
                                     Through the activity given earlier the teacher prepared a 2 table for them to
                                      answer the difference of plural and Singular by giving 5 examples of each.

         C. Generalization
                  Ask the students the following questions as far as their understanding of the lesson is concern:
                                     What is the meaning of Singular and Plural number?
                                     The rules of number nouns?
         D. Evaluation
                  Individual Work: Put the correct plural number word in the box.
    1. His (child)            hate eating pasta.
    2. My (foot)              hurt.
    3. I clean my (tooth)              three times a day.
    4. The (student)               are doing the exercise right now.
    5. The (fish)             I bought is in the fridge.
IV. Assignment
Directions: Make an essay at least 2 paragraphs and underline the word that uses of singular and plural.
