PARTS OF A COMPUTER
HARDWARE - is the physical parts or components of a computer,
such as the monitor, mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, hard
disk drive (HDD), graphic cards, sound cards, memory, motherboard,
and so on, all of which are physical objects that are tangible.
HARDWARE COMPONENTS –
MONITOR - A computer monitor is an output device that displays
information in pictorial form.

- CRT = Cathode Ray Tube
SYSTEM UNIT - A system unit is the part of a computer that
houses the primary devices that perform operations and produce
results for complex calculations.
KEYBOARD - A computer keyboard is an input device that
allows a person to enter letters, numbers, and other symbols
(together, these are called characters) into a computer.
MOUSE - A computer mouse (plural mice, rarely mouses) is a
hand-held pointing device that detects two-dimensional motion relative
to a surface.

wired
- MECHANICAL MOUSE = It has a small ball underneath
PRINTER - A computer printer is a piece of hardware for a computer.
It allows a user to print items on paper, such as letters and pictures.

SOFTWARE - instructions that tell a computer what to do. Software
comprises the entire set of programs, procedures, and routines
associated with the operation of a computer system.
COMPUTER SOFTWARE is divided to 2 groups; APPLICATION
AND SYSTEM SOFTWARE
APPLICATION SOFTWARE – PowerPoint, Word, Gmail, Chrome,
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and etc.
SYSTEM SOFTWARE is also divided to 2 groups; OPERATING AND
UTILITY
OPERATING – Windows, Mac OS, IOS, Android, Linux and etc.
UTILITY – Antivirus, Disk Cleanup Tool, MacAfee and etc.

PEOPLEWARE - Peopleware can refer to anything that has to do with
the role of people in the development or use of computer software and
hardware systems.
Ex. Teachers, Students, IT Professionals, Call Center Agents, IT
Technician and Etc.

interconnects computers within a limited area such as a residence,
school, laboratory, university campus or office
VGA (Video Graphics Array) – Computer chipset standard for
displaying color graphics
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) – Specification that
combines video and audio into a single digital interface for use with
digital versatile disc (DVD), DTV and other audiovisual device.
USB (Universal Serial Bus) - Technology used to connect
computers with peripheral devices.
Memory Card Reader - Is a small device that is used to access,
read, copy and backup data from a wide variety of memory cards such
as SD
Headphone Jack - A phone connector, also known as phone
jack, audio jack, headphone jack or jack plug, is a family of electrical
connectors typically used for analog audio signals.
Microphone Jack - A microphone jack is a small round outlet,
usually on a computer, camcorder, or stereo, into which a microphone
cord is plugged. The jack, sometimes called a mic jack, is an input
connector that works much like an electrical socket.
