The DET-3050-321 is a fluid sensitive, side initiating detonator used in slick and scalloped guns for thru-tubing and casing perforating operations. It contains 5.7 grains of RDX base charge and 2.0 grains of lead azide primary explosive. The detonator will "wet-out" and prevent detonation if exposed to fluid for 5 minutes. It is rated for temperatures up to 350°F for 1 hour and 225°F for 200 hours.

SHELF LIFE:
There will be six (6) small fluid holes visible after the top “Remove Before Use” sticker is
removed, which must be removed just prior to deployment. These holes are necessary
5 years from DOM (in original packaging)
to allow fluid to enter into and desensitize the detonator in the event of a gun leakage.
PACKAGE TYPE: DO NOT REMOVE THE BOTTOM, PLAIN WHITE STICKER. Please refer to the User
Manual (MAN-DET-321) for details on compatible detonating cord types.
