Este mecanismo controla hidraulicamente las fases de la leva de forma continua con el angulo de funcionamiento fijo de la valvula de admisién. EI ECM recibe sefiales como la posicién del cigiiefial, la posicién del arbol de levas, la velocidad del motor y la temperatura del refrigerante del motor.
