About the Aim of Conference:

ICACCBIE-11 is organized by the Departments of Computer Science, Electronics & instrumentation, Department of Information Technology and Electronics & Communication of Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering. This joint conference is a forum for researchers and designers to present and discuss various aspects of Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, Instrumentation and enabling technologies. It covers the entire spectrum of activities in the three vital areas of Computer Science, Communications, Instrumentation and enabling technologies, which underpin the Computer Science and Information Technology industries, Process Industries and Communication Technologies. One day of tutorial will be followed by two days of regular paper sessions, special sessions, and invited talks.

History of Eluru:
Helapuri (Eluru) was a part of the Buddhist Kingdom called Vengi from the ancient times. The Eastern Chalakyas ruled the Coastal Andhra from 700ad-1200ad with Vengi as their capital. Then Eluru ( Helapuri) was a province of Chalakya Empire. It remained a part of Kalinga Empire till the invasion of the Muslims in 1471. Later it fell in the hands of the Gajapathis and came under their rule. In 1515 Srikrishnadevaraya captured it from the Gajapathis. It was again captured by Kutub Shah, the Nawab of Golkonda many historical evidences are available to this effect at the near by villages Pedavegi and Guntupalli (Zeelakarragudem). During the division of northern Cirkars in to districts, Eluru was made a part of Machilipatnam district. Later, it was included in the Godavari district in 1859. Subsequently, Eluru made part of the Krishna district. Finally in the year 1925, West Godavari District was formed with Eluru as its headquarters and all the district offices and regional offices were setup in Eluru town.

History of Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering

During the early 40s there was a long felt need for a fullfledged academic institution at the district head quarters of West Godavi District, Andhra Pradesh. To fulfill this dream, the chairman of municipal council, Eluru, Late Rao Saheb Damaraju Venkata Rao went on a fund raising campaign and deposited Rs. 2 Lakh and 17 thousand in the municipality treasury for starting the college. Following this Sir C. R. Reddy MUNICIPAL COLLOEGE came into being on 4th July 1945. It was named after SIR C.R. Reddy, a distinguished scholar and the then Vicechancellor of Andhra University. The college came to be treated as an institution under private management by the government since 1947, and the word municipal was dropped from this name. Since then the institution has been growing at a steady pace. A number of institutions have also came up under the umbrella of the same management. Sir C.R.Reddy institutions, with a repitation for quality education and academic excellance, have carved a niche for themselves in the academic field of coastal Andhra Pradesh. The management consists of a team of eminent individuals and professionals from all over the state. An executive body elected by the general body from time to time carries out the general administration of the instructions.
