Fun Fingerless Gloves

These sweet crocheted fingerless mitts are the perfect accessory for a chilly night by the fire. A combination
of crochet stitches will hold your attention as you stitch these up for yourself or a friend. Worked in a worsted
weight yarn, these are both warm and pretty!

Finished Size
8” [20.5 cm] hand circumference and 8” [20.5 cm] long

Materials
• 125 yards of worsted weight yarn (CYCA 4, Medium)
• Size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
12 sts x 10 rows = 4” [10cm] in patt st

Notes
Ch-3 counts as 1 dc throughout. Yarn

Model shown in Anzula For Better or Worsted (80% merino wool/10% nylon/10% cashmere; 200 yds; 4 oz), 1
skein Mauve

Instructions (Make Two)


Ch 24. Join into a ring with sl st in first ch, being careful not to twist.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around. Join rnd with sl st in first sc. 24 sc
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in next sc and in each sc around. Join rnd with sl st in top of beg-ch-3. 24 dc

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc around. Join rnd with sl st in first sc.


Rnds 4 – 9: Rep Rnds 2 – 3 three times.
Rnd 10: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 sts, 3 dc in next sc, dc in each remaining sc around. Join rnd with sl st in top
of beg-ch-3. 26 dc

Rnd 11: Rep Rnd 3.


Rnd 12: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in each remaining st
around. Join rnd with sl st in in top of beg-ch-3. 28 dc
around. Join rnd with sl st in in top of beg-ch-3. 28 dc

sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain sc: single crochet
st(s): stitch(es)
dc: double crochet sk: skip
rep: repeat

Rnd 14: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in
next dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc,
dc in each remaining st around. Join rnd with sl
st in in top of beg-ch-3. 30 dc

Rnd 15: Ch 1, sc in each of first 3 dc, ch 3, sk


next 9 dc, sc in each dc to end of rnd. Join rnd
with sl st in first sc. 21 sts + ch-3 sp
Rnd 16: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 sts, dc in each
of next 3 ch, dc in each sc around. Join rnd with
sl st at top of beg-ch-3. 24 dc

Rnd 17: Rep Rnd 3.


Rnd 18: Ch 3, sk 2 sc, dc in next dc, dc in 2nd
skipped dc placing stitch in front of stitch just
worked, *sk next dc, dc in next dc, dc in skipped
dc placing stitch in front of stitch just worked.
Rep from * around to beg-ch-3, dc in second st
of rnd (it is skipped) placing stitch behind the
beg-ch-3. Join rnd with sl st in top of beg-ch-3.

Rnd 19: Rep Rnd 3. End off.

Finishing:
Weave in all ends.
