1. Read through the text and find a title.

Hi, l am Teressa. l live in an old


town. There is a square in the
centre of the town. We call it
Stone Square because of its
polished white marbles and its
dates back to ancient times. lt is
a touristic place. Every year many
tourists visit and take photos of
this ancient square.

There is a fountain in the middle


of the square. There are cafes
around the fountain. You can rest and drink something at these cafes. There is a
famous restaurant on the right side of the square. lt is called Queen’s Restaurant.
You can taste traditional meals in here. Opposite the restaurant there is a theatre,
a museum and a bookshop. The museum is next to the book shop. The bookshop
is on the left corner of the square. There is a music shop next to the bookshop.

Opposite the square there is a grand bazaar in the Tower Street. At the end of
this street, there is a pedestrian road. You can find there different kinds of stores.
We often go there for shopping at the weekends. lt is very enjoyable. l think l am
very lucky for living in this old town.
