PERSON OFFICER FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMENS AND CHILDREN
(VAWC) CASES.”
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Republic Act No. 9710, otherwise known as the Magna
Carta of Women is a comprehensive women’s rights law that seeks to eliminate
discrimination against women by recognizing, protecting, fulfilling and promoting, fulfilling
and promoting the rights of Filipino and Republic Act No. 9262 a VAWC law that the
barangay should provide VAWC desk for the victims Violence Against Women and
Children;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council agreed to designate Cecile C. Dulahim, Barangay
Kagawad and Marilyn Y. Secuban Barangay Kagawad, as Desk personnel of Violence
Against Women and Children for related cases;
WHEREFORE, on motion jointly sponsored;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that Cecile C. Dulahim, Barangay Kagawad
and Marilyn Y. SEcuban, Barangay Kagawad are designated as desk personnel to lead/
accommodate or investigate the Violence Against Women’s and Children (VAWC) victims;
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, this 15th day of February, 2022
