Hired as a full-time teacher from September 3, 2007 to present. Assigned first in the Hinterlands
(Impaluhod Elementary School/ Indigenous People School) and was given a chance to live with the
Higaunon tribe. Learned and embraced their culture. Left Impaluhod Elementary School, after a year
was then transferred to another IP(Indigenous People) School – Kalipay Central School to present.

Key Contributions:

 Earned high marks for the quality and creativity of classroom teaching, lesson plans and
instructional materials used in teaching diverse subjects.

 Taught general education pupils as well as individuals with learning challenges and special
needs with a fun and positive environment.

 Actively one of the writers in contextualizing of Indigenous Peoples Education(IPEd)

 Won as Third Place (Division Level) as Outstanding Implementor Elementary Level for
Project “ LEARN” ( Leave Everything And Read Now)

 Presently served as the District Reading Coordinator for 12 years now which focused on
increasing the achievement rate in Reading.
