Procedure
4. Using your ruler, measure 4 em in from all four sides of the box. Connect all your points. It should
look like a square now. (See image 1)
2. Ask a trusted adult to use a utility knife to cut along three sides of your square (front and both
sides). Leave the back edge uncut. The back edge will hold the flap to the box, and be used to reflect
the sunlight. (See image 2)
3. Using your aluminum foil, cover the entire inside of the box including the flap. Make sure that the
shiny part of the aluminum foils facing the inside of your box. Use tape to hold the aluminum foil
down. (See image 3)
4. Cover the opening of your solar oven with plastic wrap. Pull the plastic wrap tightly over the
opening, and tape it down on either side of the box. Be sure to tape all the way around the outside of
the plastic wrap so that no air escapes. (See image 4)
5, Make your s'more by putting a piece of chocolate and a marshmallow between two pieces of
graham crackers. Open the lid of your box and place your s'more inside. Close the lid. (See image 5)

Take your solar oven outside and leave it in the sunlight for one hour. Every 15 minutes, you will by
