“DRUG-FREE, BREAK FREE”

Our group slogan is DRUG-FREE, BREAK FREE that simply means a drug-free person has a
brighter future and a lot of opportunities to come in life rather than a drug addict who loses not
only the future but their own life. There is still time to repent and break free from the evil caused
by drugs before it is too late.

As you can see in the visual illustration presented, it represents people who use drugs or are
considered addicted to the drug. Once you become addicted to it, it is hard to break free from it.
As you use drugs, it will slowly destroy you as it can have serious adverse effects on an
individual's life. It can affect them physically which we can see in the illustration that the person
is slowly shattering and it also affects them mentally in which we use the halo turning into a
crown of thorns to symbolize a sudden change in behavior. It will also be a big obstacle in
fulfilling the responsibility. If you use drugs, you are simply asking for death. Now we will
proceed to financial consequences.

As an NSTP student, the use of drugs is a serious problem within the country. It has a serious
effect on an individual’s life – physically and mentally. It will be a big burden to our loved ones
and the people around us if we try to use a drug or become a drug addict because it will affect
fulfilling the responsibilities that we should be doing as a person. A lot of serious problems may
occur if you use drugs. Therefore, I pledge to follow the following to support and establish a
drug-free country:

I will follow all the laws and rules created by the government and community regarding the use
of drugs that can help suppress the use of drugs.

I fully understand that drug addiction should not be tolerated and should not be done because it
has serious physical and mental effects.

I will not take or try to take any type of drugs to stay healthy and be wise in making decisions in
life.

Encourage peers, friends, family, and others to not use drugs and elaborate the consequences of
the use of drugs. Drug is not an answer to our problem that’s why we must avoid any kind of
drugs to have a drug-free life with a lot of opportunities and a brighter future.
