Insert hook into a stitch on the piece made in step 1 and continue along as follows:

Both pieces should now be connected completely and you should have a continuous round of 13

**For the tail spikes, I crocheted a bunch of triangles and sewed them on (I didn't write out a
pattern for this part).
**Neck spikes are cut out from sheets of felt.
**Eyes are needle felted directly onto the surface.
