The BC Fuel Guidelines provides guidance on ‘ceptable industry practice for managing fuel handling, storage and Wansportation at emote consruction and Industral operations in Bish Columbia it summarizes requirements of applicable Federal and Provincial statutes, industry codes of practice and recommendation relating to environmental protection, health and safety, and fre protection. \While his document refers to legal requirements, users should always reference the curent legisiaon for accuracy and legal interpretation. Large Means of Containment (TDG Regs) ‘Intermediate Bulk Containers (<3000L) constructed to CGSB 43.146 Standard (with spectal exemption for <6000L. for diesel 1 Inspections required every 60 months. +The use of ULCIORD-C142.13 tanks are stil alowed for diese: ‘The CGSB 43.146 Standard replaced the UCLIORD-C142.13 Standard in 2003. * Inspection required every 60 months by a TC Registered Facily. ‘+The CSA Standard 8626-13 Portable Tank Specification TC44: ‘Minimum capacity 3000. + Inspections as per CSA B620 standard ‘+The CSA Standard 8625-13 for portable tanks has been adopted into the TDG Regulations; ‘These tanks are >450L.
