METHODOF OPERATION
Signalpressurefrom a controlledpressuresourceentersthe 1P300inputchamberand exertsa force on the diaphragms.A
pressuredifferentialbetweenthe two diaphragmscreatesa force to open the pilotvalve.
Outputpressurepassesthroughthe pilot valve and the bypassvalve,entersthe processvalve,or lineardeviceto operateit.
The movementof the linearactuatoris convertedinto rotarymovementby the positionerlever,and furthertransmittedto the
internalfeedbackleverof the positionerthroughthe transmissionlever and pin.
Movementof the feedbacklevervariesthe force of the feedbackspring. The linearactuatormoveson until the springforce
balanceswith the force of the input chamber. Consequentlythe lineardevice is alwayscontrolledpreciselyin proporlionto the
signalpressure. Reconfiguringthe operationmode, as well as the zero and span adjustments,are easy to do in the field.
