Free Natal Chart Report

The following free birth chart tool lists planet signs, house positions, and aspects. It also
allows you to compare multiple house systems. (The default house system is Placidus).

You will only find some interpretations right now (many of the major factors, such as
Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, and Venus in signs and house), but I am working on
adding more interpretations frequently, so please check back here from time to time!

The interpretations in the following birth chart report are written by myself, Annie Heese,
and are typically expanded interpretations already found on this site.

**Note: The free report on this page is an alternate free interpretive report that is
meant to supplement the Cafe Astrology’s Free Report section which is still fully
functional with multiple free reports, including natal, transits, and compatibility.
**Important: Under normal circumstances, you don’t need to change the time zone
offset that appears after you enter your birth location. Please don’t adjust the time zone
offset unless you know for certain what you’re doing since the default offset incorporates
crucial factors (such as daylight savings time) and is in the majority of cases accurate.

The following lists positions of planets and points in your natal chart with interpretations
for key factors.

Planet s and Point s in The Signs

Sun in Scorpio 9°  53' 36"

The Sun in the chart shows our character, personal identity, and ego. It
represents our will to live and our creative life force. Just as the planets
revolve around the Sun in our solar system, we derive our life purpose from
the Sun in our natal charts. The Sun is our “adult”– the part of us that
censors our “inner child,” reasons things out, and makes final decisions. The
Sun also gives clues to our overall vitality. The Sun directs us and can be
considered “the boss” of our chart.

When people ask you "What's your sign?", Scorpio would be your answer. Technically,
though, it's your Sun sign that is Scorpio, and you're made up of many different sign
combinations. Even so, your Sun sign is highly influential and significant.

Scorpios are known for their intensity. They are determined folk who positively throw
themselves into whatever they do — but getting them to commit to something is rarely
an easy task. In fact, it’s better not to even try to "get them" to do anything. Solar
Scorpios undoubtedly have their own mind. And, their primary motivation is unlikely to
be prestige (like their Capricorn friends), or even authority (Leos can have that, too)–
it's real power. Their power can absolutely be of the “behind the scenes” variety, just as
long as they have it!

As a Sun sign Scorpio, you are intense and have a powerful memory. You feel things
deeply, and you retain your emotional memories longer than many. Scorpio is a Water
sign, and you are unusually empathetic and perceptive, picking up on the tiniest of cues
on emotional levels. You're able to read a person quickly and thoroughly. Scorpio is also
from the Fixed family, and this endows you with endurance, tenacity, and loyalty.

To others, Scorpios seem to have plenty of willpower. They probably do. Scorpios do
know what they want, and they won't go out and grab it at the wrong moment. They
simply sit back, watch (quite expertly), and then get it only when the moment is just
right. This apparent patience is, in fact, their powerful strategic skills at work.

Scorpio isn't afraid of getting their hands (their bodies, their minds) dirty. The darker side
of life intrigues them, and they're always ready to investigate. With Scorpio as your Sun
sign, you are "all in" when you choose to do something. You're there for people you love,
and you are unafraid of the darker, deeper side of things.
Scorpios rarely give up. They have tremendous staying power. As a Scorpio, you are not
in the slightest intimidated by anybody or anything -- at least that's how you come
across.

Confrontations are not a problem. In fact, talk to any Scorpio about their lives, and you'll
probably be in awe about all they've experienced. Upheaval, change, and intensity of
experience may seem to follow them wherever they go. When a Scorpio is optimistic or
learns optimism, instead of expecting the worst, they'll find that they possess amazing
regenerative powers — the power to heal, create, and transform.

As a Scorpio, you are not a person who takes things (or people, relationships) lightly, and
for you to be on board, you need to find personal meaning in whatever you do. You may
discover that there are people who are intimidated by you since you tend to exude a
particular intensity that may have some wondering and worrying how you feel about
them. Once they get to know you, however, they realize that although you have strong
feelings and opinions, you are exceedingly understanding.

Scorpio is known as a vengeful sign, probably due to that long memory and passionate
nature mentioned above, but on the other side of the coin, they love deeply and don't
give up on those they love without very good reason. Of course, learning to let go
doesn't come easily to this sign, but it's far from impossible. In fact, the sign of Scorpio
rules rebirth and transformation.

You are amazingly resilient, undeniably perceptive, and highly intelligent. You can be
very shrewd when you need to be, and you love to draw up plans and strategies. You are
extremely creative and enterprising, as well as daring and brave. Rarely pretentious,
Scorpio is a sign that places tremendous value on authenticity.

Your Sun sign is modified by various factors, including the aspects it makes to other
planets and points, its house position, the house with the sign the Sun rules (Leo) on its
cusp, and your Pluto and Mars signs since they are Scorpio's planetary rulers. These
positions add more layers to the Sun in Scorpio interpretation. Scorpio is a Fixed Water
sign. More on Scorpio.
Ascendant in Aquarius 2°  48' 48"

The Ascendant defines, in part, the first impression we make on others in

a personal rather than professional sense. It represents our physical
appearance, our physical bodies and overall health, and the body ego. It
can be the mask or costume we wear to greet the world. It reveals our
natural and personal defense mechanisms that we use to adapt to - and
cope with - our environment. The Ascendant also shows our first
impressions of the world around us and our expectations of same –whether
we are naturally hesitant or enthusiastic, for example. How we begin new
projects and our attitude towards new experiences come under the rule of
the Ascendant.

How unique and original you come across! With your Aquarius Ascendant, you are an
unconventional individual and you won't let others forget that fact. Often turned to for
advice, you possess intellectual poise and savvy. You are super curious about and quite
learned in both science and metaphysics--anything that involves advancement of the
human race holds much appeal.

Your personality is unusual and notable -- people notice you! You are interested in a wide
range of issues and can interact without affectation with anyone from all walks of life.
You are a natural leader and have a nonchalant look and manner. Because you may seem
indifferent, impassionate, or intellectual, people may not immediately notice your loyalty.

It's hard to shock you! You've seen it all, or at least you want others to think you have.
In fact, you often enjoy shocking people. Not that you are necessarily flamboyant by
nature, but you do like to get a rise out of others, even if it's in a quiet way. Some people
born with your Ascendant sign can be quietly provocative and irreverent.

Most people with an Aquarius Ascendant are quite friendly and likable. Your personality
quirks generally go over quite well with others. You usually allow others quite a bit of
freedom--accepting, as a rule, people from all walks of life as equals. And, your
somewhat cool and detached curiosity about all that goes on around you appeals to most
people.
You won't follow others blindly. While you are attracted to many different and unusual
ideas, you need to experiment for yourself before coming to conclusions. You are highly
resistant to being told what to do, think, or be.

Curiously, people like yourself who have Aquarius rising can be a little standoffish while
also coming across as humanitarian and kind. Even if Aquarius isn't your Sun sign,
people might, on first impression, see you as a person with Aquarian personality traits.

It's quite likely that you were labeled as the independent and original child, and you feel
a little "different" or "special" throughout your life. You could often feel like you are on
the outside looking in, and your ability to observe and deduce is often uncanny. You're
also adept at getting things to work, even when the parts that make up the whole seem
like a puzzle with unusual pieces--especially when it comes to groups of people. This sets
you apart as a friend, manager, or team leader.

You believe in individual freedom and independence, and you refuse to conform just
because people expect you to. Although you have progressive and often nontraditional
viewpoints, you can also be quite stubborn and decided with your opinions.

If you are often considered the objective, unemotional one, then you can have some

difficulty getting help when you need it most. Try not to overidentify with your image.

The Ascendant often reveals physical mannerisms and even choice of dress, as it shows
how people present themselves to the world. With Aquarius here, you can have a certain
quirkiness to your manner, and you might dress in a slightly offbeat manner--not enough
to make you stand out like a sore thumb, but just enough to express your original
temperament.

Sensitive parts of the body are the shins and ankles, and circulation, the nervous system,
or eyesight can need attention.

Because you seem so open to new ideas, it may surprise others when they encounter
your decidedly stubborn streak. Aquarius is a fixed sign, after all. The ascendant sign
shows how individuals react to new situations, and with Aquarius rising, there can be a
resistance to change that seems to belie your generally progressive nature. There's a
distinct inflexibility with Aquarian rising people, and, sometimes, a tendency to want to
force their opinions on others.

With your eye to the future of mankind as a whole, you might sometimes overlook the
more personal needs of the people closest to you. You are often attracted to partners
who possess self-confidence and ardor.

The conditions of Uranus and Saturn in your chart by sign, house, and aspect can modify
these characteristics, adding more layers to this interpretation. More
on Aquarius Rising.

Moon in Taurus 5°  21' 29"

The Moon in the signs reveals much about our habits, reactions, and
instincts. It shows how we express and deal with our emotions. Most
obvious in our homes or in private, our Moon sign reveals our innermost
needs. The Moon can represent our experience of nurturing; it also shows
how we nurture ourselves! It's important to note that Moon signs change
every 2 or 2-1/2 days, and on some days, can be one of two signs, in which
case an accurate birth time is necessary.

You have the Moon in the sign of Taurus in your natal chart, and familiarity is vital to
Lunar Taureans. You are earthy and strong-willed. You feel with your senses, and you are
pretty much rooted in your ways. You may very well revel in material comforts–in fact,
building a stable and comfortable home and foundation helps to keep you feeling safe
and content.

It isn’t wise to try to push you into doing anything, as you tend to dig in your heels if
you're rushed or dominated, but once you've committed, you're remarkably persevering.

There's a steadiness to this position of the Moon that is comforting to people close to
you. But there is also a conservative streak in you that can be maddening to more
progressive personalities. You tend to go out of your way to avoid messy or unpredictable
situations, crises, and emotional displays. You'd rather focus on creating a reliable and
secure life around you. In relationships, Lunar Taureans such as you may not easily
recognize their partner's need for change, growth, or emotional stimulation. Staying on
top of this tendency is essential.

Moon in Taurus natives are usually very romantic, although not typically in a flowery way.
Instead, their affections are strong, deep, and unwavering, and they are sentimental and
warm. Since Taurus is a practical Earth sign, the placement of the Moon in this sign
suggests an ability to protect themselves and their own interests. They will rarely make a
move without first determining that it is safe and that there's something in it for them!
With your Moon in Taurus, you have a strong need for predictability in your home and
family life, even if other aspects of your personality prompt you to seek out excitement in
various other life departments.

Generally, you have reliable instincts. You can be very much tied to the physical world,
and you're likely to have a particularly well-developed sense of smell. Sensual but simple
pleasures delight you tremendously. In this way, you are wonderfully straightforward and
easy to please.

Relationships for you are often quite enduring. Many Moon in Taurus people hang onto
their mates longer than most, even in the face of severe conflict. Taurus is a fixed sign,
so break-ups don't happen easily.

There is a serenity to you that others can find very calming. In fact, it takes a lot to
really get to you. However, you do get off-center every once in a while. You are not the
most adaptable of people when your own routine is interrupted, for example.

Though some Lunar Taureans might be considered anal, most simply have a stubborn
streak that keeps them rather resistant to change. Rarely are you a spontaneous sort
unless there are many other factors in your chart pointing in that direction.
Uncomfortable with surprises, you value stability. Your needs are robust but quite simple
at the same time – you love the “good things” in life. The world of the five senses is all-
important to you. Your love of stability and steadiness can make you somewhat of a slave
to routine at times. However, you are loyal and capable, and this kind of stick-to-it
energy is wonderful.

Mercury in Scorpio 16°  59' 27"

What's your style of communication? How do you make decisions? How do

you pick up, process, absorb, and exchange information? These questions
are answered, in part, by Mercury's placement by sign in your natal chart.
Someone may be an assertive Aries, but they could also have Mercury in
Taurus, with a style of communication that's slower, patient, and not quite
as spirited as one would expect from an Aries, as an example. Mercury
refines the Sun sign, and it helps to define how we take in--and give out--
information.

With Mercury in Scorpio, you're exceptionally perceptive. You're on an eternal quest to

get to the very heart of any matter. This trait appears in anything that requires thought,
and in almost every conversation you have. Totally fearless when it comes to delving into
depths that nobody else wants, or even thinks, to explore, you excel at learning the
source and the core of any problem or issue. You're blessed (or cursed, depending on
how you want to look at it!) with the observation skills of a surveillance camera, seeming
to see all and know all.

Sometimes you can be quite "dark" because of your tendency to focus on the false to get
to the truth. You detest superficiality. You can come across as suspicious and can annoy
other, more optimistic people with a slightly cynical or what they may feel is paranoid
take on things from time to time.

As a Scorpio communicator, you're passionate in your speech, sometimes even given to

lecturing. You're just as passionate about giving others real advice and help. You're quite
willing to let others in on a few of your secrets--regarding other people, that is, not
yourself! The truth is, you've observed things that many haven't. You give the best
advice around. You're at your best when you're talking about things for which you're not
personally involved. That's when your shrewd judgment shines. It's when you're
personally involved that clouded judgment is more likely.
Your intelligence is entirely instinctive. Strategies are your specialty! Your idea of
constructive criticism can be interpreted as destructive criticism, depending on your
audience. It can be very challenging for others to win an argument or debate with you.
You're absolutely driven to prevail, not just for the sake of scoring intellectual points, but
simply to come out on top in general. Besides that, it's hard to deny that your thinking is
lucid. Others may need to grit their teeth and concede.

You'll staunchly support and defend anyone you care about. And, the energy in your
speech (or sheer intensity) can be motivating. You give awesome pep talks.

You're also quick to home in on motivations. You size people up quickly and expertly. You
may be naturally suspicious, or your experiences shape this trait. With Mercury in
Scorpio, you love intrigue, mystery, and hidden motives. If you don't channel this interest
into mental pursuits, you can end up creating your own mysteries.

You adore anything that challenges the brain and you're intensely interested in what
makes people tick. There's very little that surprises you, and you make an extraordinary
confidant.

Venus in Scorpio 10°  08' 05"

How do you attract things, situations, and people into your life? Venus
rules our sentiments, what we value, and the pleasure we take in life.
Grace, charm, and beauty are all ruled by Venus. Through Venus, we learn
about our tastes, preferences, artistic inclinations, and what makes us
happy. We look to Venus in the natal chart to see how we approach
relationships of the heart, as well as what gives us pleasure. We also turn to
Venus to show how we spend our money, the types of gifts we buy, and how
much we spend on leisure activities (not to mention the kinds of leisure
activities we seek). Venus rules attractiveness--both the ability to attract
and attraction to others (and things). Venus rules, amongst other things,
the arts, love and romance, beauty and the beautifying process, money,
entertainment, leisure, sensuality, and comfort.
With your Venus in the Fixed Water sign, Scorpio, you attract others to you with your
intensity and willingness to commit. You have a strong and concentrated manner that
suggests your feelings run deep. Your actions in love have a way of promising deep
commitment and sexual pleasure, even if you're not communicating this directly.

A significant part of your appeal lies in your focus on a person you care about as well as
your dedication. Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy! Potential
lovers get the feeling that you will never stray, that you're intensely loyal to the one you
love. You possess a person, and somehow make it seem attractive to be possessed.

You give your complete attention to a partner and a relationship--you're very focused on
your partner. Depending on their personalities, others might find this quality unnerving or
entirely flattering. Watch for a tendency to want to control your partner and the course or
direction of the relationship itself. Your body-and-soul love and commitment can be so
intense that it eclipses fun and makes loving you a heavy experience at times. Your
emotion and intensity can seem overdone to those looking for a more light-hearted
relationship.

In love, you may take things to extremes, and you can be very provocative at times.
Although you want to explore all of a person's nooks and crannies, you aren't always as
forthcoming with your own. There's no mistaking it when a partner has disappointed you.
Depending on the moment, you might blow up or choose to give the silent treatment.
Either way, a slighted Scorpio lover is not a pretty sight! Watch for jealousy of a partner's
attachments, even if they're not people. You may be holding onto a fear of being taken
for a ride in matters of the heart, and you are an expert at cutting through all the fluff
and seeing a person for what they are. But if this brilliant perception is mixed in with
insecurity and fear, it can be skewed towards the mistrustful.

Pleasing you involves a partner demonstrating their true commitment and loyalty to you.
A person made for you appreciates your guts when it comes to love and intimacy since
you're rightfully proud of your courage in these matters. They will also let you have your
secrets and silences.

My Personal Ad Bio: "I'm emotional and deep. I'll be very loyal too, forever. I'm looking
for commitment. I'll make you happy in bed."

You're seeking deeply passionate relations. Superficial flirtations and contacts do not
satisfy, as you yearn for "body and soul" contact with someone special--contact that
breaks the taboos, that is extreme and intense, and that is unforgettable. This is a highly
emotional position for Venus. It is passionate, sensual, and intense energy. Your
relationships are immensely important to you--you can be consumed by them, in fact,
and this can be a real addiction!

Although the primary drive is toward intense closeness, blind faith in your partner may
be challenging. Fears of being too vulnerable or of giving up your own power to others is
strong. If you've been hurt in the past, you don't want to expect it in the future, but it's
tough for you to forget. Scorpio is an "all or nothing" energy, and relationships tend to be
somewhat of a rollercoaster ride as a result. Disdain for mediocrity and superficiality can
compel you to create crises in order to feel alive and vital. If you're feeling insecure, you
can be hard to figure out or to get close to because you can go from one extreme of
emotion to the next quite quickly. You sometimes appear very sensitive and yielding, and
other times completely closed off, for example.

Your tastes in art, clothing, furnishings, and music tend to be dark, surreal, gothic, or
passionate. Most of your true character lies beneath the surface, and what you choose to
put on display may even be deceptive. Fashion trends mean little to you. Your sexual
nature can be quite complex. You are provocative but private, and sex is profoundly
intimate and personal for you.

Your feelings last! You're passionate and rarely forget, although your all-or-nothing
attitude in love does mean that once something is over, it's truly over. However, while
you can end an attachment to a person, you may dwell on the relationship experience
with them for a lifetime. It's difficult to put your feelings, which are deep and complex, to
words at times.

While you enjoy people, you create ties and attachments to a select few. It's hard for you
to do things halfway or to be moderate in your interests. You love collections, and your
interests can quickly become all-consuming.
You're so perceptive and your understanding of human nature so spot-on that others
might think you're psychic. In fact, some people may fear you for that reason, but
perhaps it's best they don't approach you if they have too much to hide.

You're proud in love. Harmony is less important to you than enjoying a wide range of
emotional experiences. It's relatively easy for you to be addicted to a pastime, hobby,
relationship, or pleasure. You can arouse strong feelings in others even without intending
to do so--your personal presence is strong, and you can be quite attractive, perhaps even
in an unsettling manner for some people. You're capable of throwing yourself into a new
passion quickly and entirely if it feels right. It may be true that you ask a lot from a
commitment, but you also give much, and usually more!

Mars in Gemini 13°  21' 39" Rx

Mars is the planet that rules our drive and passions. In the mutable air sign of Gemini,
Mars in your chart is a little scattered and unfocused, but quite adept, adaptable, and
bright. Easily bored, you may need a fresh change of pace frequently to keep energy
levels up. It's a somewhat odd thing, really, but when there's nothing much to do, you're
exhausted. However, if there's plenty of exciting things on your agenda, you're a
powerhouse! More than most people, you have a physical reaction to boredom.

You have a passion for words, and when you get angry or fired up, you use words as
your "weapon." Angry communications--some of the most incisive and sarcastic ones--
can fly around for the more assertive or energetic types with this position. Others not as
aggressively inclined talk things through--energetically! Whatever is the case for you,
you seem to need to get everything off your chest when you're fired up.

In fact, debates are a Mars-in-Gemini specialty. You can readily draw on your sharp wit to
win arguments. In general, you can be talkative, and perhaps very much so. If your natal
chart shows more reserve, you seem to go in and out of talkativeness, becoming chatty
when you're worked up or enthusiastic about something or the other. You prefer to use
words rather than force. You may also prefer mental tasks to physical labor. You'd make
an exceptional teacher of topics you love.
You can be quite skilled at communicating, whether in your speech or writing, or both.
There is a colorful, animated, or enthusiastic quality to your communications, although
you can be moody or your verbosity is cyclical. You're clever and a quick learner, but you
don't always have the patience to go very deeply into specific subjects. Your skills are
many, and you can be very resourceful. Your output is variable, as you can work at
lightning speed when inspired and move on to something else when bored. You're given
to short bursts of activity. This Mars placement is the position of the multi-tasker.

Some people with this position of Mars are quite fidgety. They have much nervous
energy. In general, their nervousness and restlessness are at the root of many physical
ups and downs. When they're on edge, they can be nitpicky. Many Mars in Gemini natives
channel their energy through their hands. Gemini, after all, rules the hands; and these
people often express energy through musical instruments, crafts, video games, and the
like. Many are attracted to puzzles and games as diversions—and they're quite skilled at
them!

With Mars in Gemini, you can be very adaptable, often thriving on change. In a more
conservative chart, this will show up on a mental level. You usually take up many
projects at once, spreading yourself thin at times. Sustained interest is not especially the
forte of this Mars placement—you'd need some helpful Saturn, Capricorn, and Taurus
influences for follow-through, and if not, you'd benefit from attempting to focus your
energies rather than scattering them. However, your versatility and disdain for routine
generally mean you're busy and interesting. Your first instinct is to use your wit, words,
social skills, and intelligence to achieve your desires and goals.

Jupiter in Leo 12°  22' 57"

With Jupiter in Leo, you attract the most fortune when you express kindness, are
generous with others, inspire confidence in those around you, conduct yourself with
dignity and sincerity, and avoid the pitfall of excessive egotism. Prosperous areas for you
are creative ones, entertainment, children, and recreation.

You take pride in everything you do. Generosity brings success your way.
As a Fire sign Jupiter, you identify strongly with your own opinions, beliefs, and
perceptions, and you may take it quite personally if others disagree with them! You make
your own opportunities, and you are at your best when you are thinking in big terms,
taking calculated risks, and displaying confidence.

Saturn in Capricorn 20°  01' 18"

Self-preservation instincts are strong with Saturn in Capricorn. You are far more
responsible than most people, but you can have a love-hate relationship with this side of
you. In fact, you may set such high standards for yourself that it can feel much more
comfortable to denounce ambition and material success entirely. Walking away can give
you a sense of being in control, and fear of not being in control can be a driving force in
your life! However, this can be limiting and can serve only to feed your insecurities. In
truth, there can be strong desires for success buried deep inside you, but you have a
hard time accepting your ambitious side. You need to watch carefully, too, for
internalizing all of this and becoming somewhat pessimistic, discouraged, or bitter.

In truth, you have a heightened sense of responsibility, and it's greater than it is for most
people. Because it's so weighty, it can mess you up, and you end up feeling overwhelmed
and frustrated, bowing out of things too quickly because you sense they will be far too
much to handle. Giving up before you start is a common issue with this natal position.
You can be harsher on yourself than is warranted, and this can prevent you from entering
a commitment that would otherwise benefit you. Looking around you, you may feel that
others seem far less burdened or responsible, and it can seem that life is easier for them.
Fear of failure can be a persistent issue in your life, and you can do much to protect
yourself from the risks of failing--a defense mechanism that ultimately limits you in
critical ways.

Watch for a side of you that is too stern or law-abiding than is healthy for you. You may
have absorbed impossible standards for yourself, and it's best to work on detaching
yourself from these, without going too far in the opposite direction. When you were
young, people may have treated you as more mature for your age, but this may have put
too much pressure on you. In your career, you may struggle with the idea of working for
someone, internally rejecting authority. Still, you may struggle with insecurity about
being your own boss, as you feel safer when things are predictable. Bones--especially
teeth and knees--can be vulnerable parts of the body. If Saturn is well-aspected, this
position points to loads of common sense, practicality, and realism. Others appreciate
you as a responsible and reasonable person.

Uranus in Capricorn 6°  35' 24"

You're most interested in making changes, innovating, and updating traditions related to
government, management, rules, laws, career, business, responsibility, and authority.
You seek more freedom in or through these areas, and you don't feel the need to
conform. You may believe in breaking through some of the inhibitions or taboos related
to traditions, formalities, hierarchies, respect, and structure. Despite the need for
progress, you can be very stubborn and set in your ways in these areas. You may
challenge authority or rules and laws in place only if they are no longer serving a good
purpose or if they're seen as limiting progress, seeking to revolutionize the ways we
manage our lives and societies, as well as our careers. This is a highly resourceful
placement.

Neptune in Capricorn 12°  13' 48"

Your vision of an ideal world may center around respect for rules, order, responsibility,
and morality. You need to believe in the realizability of your dreams, and this means that
your fantasies usually have a very realistic thread to them. There is a conservative,
possibly somewhat cynical element to your nature. Because a general optimism or faith
do not typically carry or motivate you, energy levels may not be high when you don't
believe in what you're doing, and inspiration is not easy to find in the first place.
However, you can turn a dream into reality more than most. Your vision is practical but
also doable.

Pluto in Scorpio 17°  23' 34"

Your feelings about intimacy, sexuality, dependency, attachment, and support are
intense. You can readily go to extremes as you seek a deeper connection to someone or
a special project or goal. The quest to distinguish yourself in any of these areas can be so
fraught with pressure at times that you rarely allow yourself to feel content and satisfied.
You may need to work harder than most to let yourself to be anything less than strong.
You are not afraid to call evil for what it is. You are a rare combination of compassionate
and practical. With Pluto working at its best, you are brilliantly perceptive and
understanding--quick to see the many different layers of any given situation.

Chiron in Cancer 27°  18' 26"

You are warm and concerned for others, and you express this kindness quite readily, but
you don't always apply it to yourself. You are a champion of the underdog or the
"ordinary," encouraging others to enjoy themselves instead of performing or seeking out
outer-world success, but you may hold guilt for underperforming, finding it difficult to
apply your own advice and beliefs to yourself. You may also have trouble feeling truly
comfortable and "at home" in places that are not your home.

Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius 10°  36' 41"

You may have felt ashamed for your curiosity, questions, restlessness, the need to
challenge and question life/facts/beliefs, or the need to get away, expand, and seek
meaning. You could feel uncomfortable around people who are expressing these
Sagittarian traits, not quite trusting them. Learning to accept these very natural, human
needs can be empowering.

North Node in Aquarius 1°  54' 44" Rx

One theory behind the Nodes of the Moon (the North Node and South Node)
suggests that we all come into this world with some underdeveloped and
overdeveloped aspects of our character. The Nodes of the Moon point us to
these specific qualities: the South Node represents our overdeveloped
character traits that we automatically fall back upon. We're talented here,
but if we overdo this area of life or hold onto these traits to feel secure, we
may undermine our lives or prevent growth. On the other hand, the North
Node suggests the qualities that we need to work on and develop to achieve
inner balance.
With your True North Node in Aquarius, your South Node is in Leo.

This placement of the North Node of the Moon can incline you to be very attached to the
drama of romance and personal relationships, to be willful and wholly focused on getting
what you want, and to resist being "one of the crowd" for fear that it makes you less
special or unique. If overdone, these traits can serve to limit your opportunities and keep
you in a state of dissatisfaction.

Your path seems to be learning to let go of your fears in relationships through offering
more freedom to your partners to be themselves instead of expecting them to act as you
want them to act. As well, you're learning that we are all equal and that we can still be
special if we belong to a community or share common traits with others. You are learning
to move towards a more impartial approach to the world, and as you do, you'll cultivate
more and more sensitivity to the needs of others. By letting go of the strong desire to get
what you want in the here and now, satisfaction will come to you naturally as you slowly
but surely discover that you get what you need even in the absence of a passionate
chase.

You could find that your personal relationships and romances suffer when you take things
too personally and expect others to follow a script that you have unconsciously written
for them. Learning to let go of the desire for drama and attention, and moving towards a
more objective approach to your life will help you grow and develop true friendships and
will lead to a greater sense of inner balance. Your relationships with others, as well as
your relationship with yourself, will benefit.

Part of Fortune in Cancer 28°  16' 41"

Success and fulfillment may come more readily to you when you can use your receptive,
protective, and nurturing qualities in your pursuits. Fields that provide security, housing,
nourishment, and safety can be remarkably fulfilling for you. You blossom when you
attend to the human element in your endeavors.

You prefer to feel things out and intuit your way, and if you're able to do so in your work
or career, all the better. Your heart has to be in what you do for it to thrive. Saving for a
rainy day can be a go-to that works for you--you prefer to feel secure, particularly as
you're especially aware of the cyclical nature of life.

Look to the Moon, planetary ruler of Cancer, for more clues to where and how you
improve your lot in life.

Vertex in Gemini 0°  30' 02"

Midheaven in Libra 28°  12' 38"

You carefully weigh your decisions about your career or life path and concern yourself
with how your choices will affect others. You prefer to avoid rocking the boat, and you
seek (and usually find) the middle road. People see you as gracious and fair, and it's
important to you that you come across that way in public or professional settings.

You succeed in your profession by being relatable, fair-minded, charming, pleasant,

balanced, ethical, moderate, and agreeable. You seek harmony and balance in your
career and regarding your reputation--you don't want to make drastic changes,
statements, or moves. You're an excellent mediator and quite relationship-focused in
your professional dealings.

You do a lot of thinking, planning, and imagining about your career or life path and plans.
Because you have difficulty with extremes or absolutes, you can be indecisive. Your
presentation is balanced, and you're a team player in your work. You have a powerful
sense of what people want and current tastes and trends.

You might see your parents or caregivers as vastly different--one who emphasizes
socialization and tact, and another who values authenticity and being self-made or
independent.

Your ability to cooperate, balance, mediate, and harmonize can take you far. Partnering
can figure strongly in your work. While you're flexible and adaptable, you're also
proactive and persistent. You are an expert at getting things done without stepping on
anyone's toes.

Planet s and Point s in The Houses

Sun in Tenth House

The Sun's house position modifies and refines its position by zodiac sign. With the Sun in
your tenth house, the urge to work toward a goal, for success and accomplishment,
and/or for power is an essential part of your makeup. You are uncomfortable in any
position in which you must "take orders" from someone else, although if it furthers your
own goals to do so, you'll do your best in this role. Recognize your ambitions and your
need for authority without going overboard. Seek out a career that allows you to
manage, rather than be managed, if possible. It is crucial that you accept the part of you
that is ambitious, but take pains not to over-identify with an image that is not really you!
There is undoubtedly a very responsible, goal-oriented side to you. It's natural for you to
work your way up the ladder. Your strong, determined personality is often well-received,
although there can be friction with other strong personalities from time to time.

Moon in Fourth House

The Moon in the houses can reveal where and how we go about seeking
emotional satisfaction. If it's an issue, we can discover vital clues to the
reason for perpetual emotional unrest through the study of the house
position of the Moon, and these can manifest as constant changes or ups
and downs in the areas of life ruled by the house. It is in these areas that
we should aim to make deep attachments rather than chase superficial and
temporary emotional thrills if we are seeking out a genuine feeling of
belonging and emotional fulfillment. It's important to note that house
positions are quite sensitive to birth times.
With the Moon in your fourth house, you long for a sense of true belonging, but you may
be quite restless in your search. You might change residence frequently or simply feel the
need to make many changes in your home. Moving often may be a healthy thing if it
keeps you emotionally stimulated. However, if you find that you do so on whims and later
regret the changes, you might want to treat it as a symptom of emotional unrest. This is
because, with this house position, you could be in an endless search for the perfect mood
and setting, when in fact a feeling of belonging should be worked on from the inside out,
not the outside in!

While some with this position remain somewhat immature on an emotional level, never
wanting to truly grow up and take care of yourself, for most, this is about taking
attachments to the past, traditions, or family/home strongly to heart.

With the Moon in the fourth house, you very often feel the need to anchor, ground, or
center yourself before feeling fit in other areas of life. You have a powerful sense of home
or family, and the drive for security and safety can be behind much of what you do.

This is an excellent position for home business. You can have a strong interest in lineage,
history, or collecting. You are likely quite creative and warm. You have strong emotional
"feelers," and you need to feel out a situation before trusting it.

Mercury in Tenth House

You are good with language, and you're likely to use this talent in your profession. You
can have an authoritative air about you, or you are talented at communicating and
negotiating with those in authority. You might have more than one job going at once
much of the time, you could change your career directions frequently, or you could be
attracted to jobs that keep you on the move. You enjoy frequent changes of setting or
activities in order to remain stimulated and challenged, but you're also fully capable of a
structured approach to your work. In fact, feeling secure about what you're doing is most
important to you, as you feel incredibly uncomfortable with things you don't know well.
You abhor being taken off guard and will go out of your way to avoid such situations. You
are skilled at bringing fresh energy to your conversations or to your job, perhaps because
you thrive on the stimulation.

These traits are Mercury in the tenth house in pure form and are modified by Mercury's
sign and aspects. [Note that house positions are highly dependent on birth time.]

Venus in Tenth House

With Venus in the tenth house of your chart, you can be an excellent negotiator. You are
very skilled, and thoroughly enjoy, managing and organizing efforts. For some, a
profession in the arts is favored, and for others, your ability to get along with others is a
boon to your career. Your reputation is likely favorable. Others tend to respect you for
your charming manner, and you have many admirers, although some of these are
admirers from afar, as there is an aura about you that is charming yet strangely (and
intriguingly) distant.

You have a great need to be recognized or admired for your charm, beauty, or loving
manner, but should be careful not to become too wrapped up in what others think of you,
as you might come across as phony or superficial. Some people with this position are
“married” to their work or to their image. You are good at making contacts and
organizing social events. This is a generally favorable position for financial prosperity.

Mars in Fifth House

With Mars in the fifth house of your birth chart, you are naturally spontaneous,
passionate, enthusiastic, and adventurous. Your love of pleasure is robust, and you
directly and perhaps impulsively pursue romance, art, and leisure. Many of you are
sports lovers, and anything with an element of risk appeals to you or entertains you. You
put a lot of energy into the pursuit of entertainment, satisfaction, games, and pleasure.
You can be an especially active hobbyist. You tend to be very playful and demonstrative,
and you can thoroughly enjoy putting on a show.

You can be very competitive, but unless Mars is very challenged, it's a healthy kind of
competition that drives you to improve. If you have children, this position can be one
indication that they're notably active and boisterous.

Mars influencing your creative self-expression adds a layer of intensity, passion, or power.
Physical creative channels for your energy can be immensely fulfilling, and these might
include dance, athletics, pottery, sculpting, and more. You enjoy a good challenge. In
love, the energy of the chase can be especially exciting to you, and in ongoing
relationships, an active thread of passion and enthusiasm is essential to your sense of
satisfaction. You can be an exciting lover.

Jupiter in Seventh House

Cultivating close, rewarding partnerships is important to you with Jupiter in the seventh
house of your natal chart. You are talented at negotiations, believing strongly in fair play,
and you are excellent at mediating conflicts. Legal matters may be fortunate for you. You
value people and relationships, and you may very well succeed best in partnership.
Relating as equals is important to you. You naturally use charm and grace to reach your
goals. You tend to expect the best from others, which can sometimes lead to
disappointments, but you are highly resilient.

Saturn in Twelfth House

Uranus in Twelfth House

Neptune in Twelfth House

You possess exceptional intuition, and you draw upon tremendous inner strength and
faith when in a pinch, which might surprise others because of your easygoing manner.
You may be exceptionally sensitive but not always able to express your compassion and
concern in direct ways, which can give rise to feelings of guilt. If you deny the spiritual
side of your nature, you run the risk of chronic discontent, and you may feel very
vulnerable to regular changes in life, fearing that you may not be able to handle them. In
truth, your faith runs deep and surfaces when you need it most, so this fear is
ungrounded. You need to learn to believe in yourself, or you might resort to escapist
behavior and avoid problems when they do crop up. Some with this position only
discover their deep spiritual inclinations later in life, or they are aware of them but have
troubles expressing them until they have built a stronger identity.

Pluto in Tenth House

There is something very unique about you that makes you stand out from the crowd.
Your ambition may be well-developed, or you pursue your goals with great focus and
determination. You have a keen interest in research, making improvements,
understanding how things work, and transformation and these are qualities that you use
most notably in your career or your dealings with the public. Some of you could have a
parent who is/was quite driven or work(ed) in healing or research professions. Your
personal presence is strong, and you may find that you might inspire love-hate reactions
as a result, particularly in your professional experiences. Nevertheless, you can be very
persuasive when you choose to be. You have an exceptionally strong sense of
commitment and responsibility, but you are unafraid of going against the grain or
bucking traditions if you feel they are outdated. Sometimes with this position, there are
deep issues that need to be confronted revolving around the relationship with a parent.
Many of you are perfectionists and especially detail-oriented, particularly on a
professional level. You tend to take the lead naturally, and you don't always enjoy being
in the position of a subordinate.

Chiron in Sixth House

Black Moon Lilith in Eleventh House

North Node in Twelfth House

The theory behind the Nodes of the Moon (the North Node and South Node)
suggests that we all come into this world with some underdeveloped and
overdeveloped aspects of our character.

With your North Node in the twelfth house, your South Node is naturally in the sixth
house.

You are an expert at handling your practical affairs. Watch for overanalyzing things - your
path is to believe, take a leap of faith, let go of the need to control, and focus on
emotional health not just physical. Allow yourself to surrender to the unknown from time
to time. This is your path to greater fulfillment.

North Node in First House

The theory behind the Nodes of the Moon (the North Node and South Node)
suggests that we all come into this world with some underdeveloped and

but if we overdo this area of life or hold onto these traits to feel secure, we
may undermine our lives or prevent growth. On the other hand, the North

Note that with your North Node in the First House, your South Node is in the Seventh
House.

You are learning to assert yourself, express yourself more plainly and confidently, and act
with more independence. Moving out of your comfort zone for you can be developing
your autonomy, but it's a fabulous lesson that boosts your relationships. In fact, once you
learn to embrace your independence, close partnerships can be happier and more
fulfilling. Learn what it is you truly need and want in relationships, even if this means
spending some time alone, as you may too easily lose yourself in partnerships. The
chance of making poor decisions can keep you in a state of fear. It's better to make some
poor decisions and bounce back than to stay in a state of limbo. You are very diplomatic,
and it's a great trait, but sometimes you do it so much that you limit your growth. Learn
to listen to your inner guide rather than fall back on the approval of others.

A spect s

Sun Opposition Moon (orb 4°32')

The Sun opposing the Moon in your natal chart means that you were born around the
time of a Full Moon. This aspect has quite a bit of significance in your chart since it's an
aspect that occurs between the lights (the Sun and Moon).

People born when the Sun opposes the Moon can experience an internal struggle
between their needs and their wants. In contrast to the New Moon personality, the Full
Moon personality is inclined towards lack of focus and indecision. However, this is also a
brilliant position for mediation, objectivity, and understanding.

Your ability to be objective is both an asset and a liability, simply because when you
decide on one route, you seem to be pulled in another direction at the same time.
Something tugs at you and you begin to question your stance. “But what if…” and “on the
other hand…” are frequent and can seem to plague you at times. While New Moon people
have an Aries style about them, Full Moon natives have a distinct Libra energy about
them, in that they are always aware of the opposing point of view, the other side of the
coin, and so forth. This means that you can sometimes seem to be a Libra even if you're
not a Libra!

Your inner struggle is most evident with your vitality as both the Sun and the Moon
strongly influence the vitality. You can experience many ups and downs, and it can be
difficult to know if it's physical or emotional. In fact, it's likely both. You could spend a
week working hard, and the following week you lack motivation and find it hard to
accomplish much. Your energy fluctuates more than most people, and it is very much a
reflection of what is going on inside.

It's very likely that the messages you received in your early life (in terms of what was
expected of you) were conflicting, and even opposite. Some people born under the Full
Moon viewed their parents/caregivers as two very different and separate individuals who
each wanted something very different from their child. Your parents or parent figures
“stood for” two very different things, and you, as a child, internalized this.

A vital life lesson for you and others with this Sun opposition Moon aspect is to learn to
look within for happiness, as the tendency is strong to look outside of yourself for
fulfillment. This may be why people with this aspect seem inclined to form serious
relationships at an early age, simply because of this tendency to try to find an answer to
happiness from an “other.” Relationships (early ones) may be temperamental partly
because of this prematurity, and partly because of complicated needs. Full Moon people
are also more apt to seek counseling because of this need to find answers.

You appear to be very self-aware. You're inclined to entertain a myriad of different points
of view and perspectives. You can be an excellent psychologist as you're able to read
character and uncover motivations–but with an important caveat: if you are too
emotionally close to the situation, you fumble. The truth is, although you know much
about how people tick, you may spend a good part of your life uncovering and learning
more about yourself. Generally, this is done through comparisons or through the mirror
of relationships.
You can sometimes frustrate yourself and others with your indecisiveness and frequent
changes of mind (and heart). Your changes of heart are unlikely a form of insincerity–
they are the result of an internal struggle that is very real and very confusing to live
with! You should watch carefully for over-identifying with one side of the opposition
(either the Sun sign or Moon sign) and projecting the qualities of the other onto a
partner. You could find that you're often drawn to friends or partners who are polar
opposites to you.

Sun opposition Moon people can be temperamental, insecure, and very sensitive. The
ability to put themselves in someone else’s shoes, and to consider other points of view, is
a true asset. However, at some point in their lives, they need to uncover what it is they
truly want. This comes easy to New Moon people, and can be a life-long struggle for Full
Moon people. On the other hand, it is extremely easy for a Full Moon personality to
understand others' points of view–something that doesn't come as easily to a New Moon
personality.

Sun opposition Moon people are generally interesting and complex. Born under a Full
Moon, you can be a bit “loony,” likely manifesting itself in a unique and delightful sense of
humor.

Look for a planet that might trine and sextile the Sun-Moon opposition for a way to
release the tension the opposition creates. Somehow, some way, through that planet, its
sign, and its house position, the Sun opposition Moon person can find an “answer” to the
struggle. Look also to the sign polarity involved for more details of the struggle. If it’s
Aries and Libra, for example, there is a conflict between two equal drives to be
independent and to depend on others.

Sun Conjunction Venus (orb 0°14')

Social relationships are a big focus with Sun conjunct Venus in the natal chart. You're
charming, and most of the time, you have an easy-going manner. It's usually easy for
you to be personally popular, to come across pleasantly, and to be liked and appreciated,
and these things are quite important to you. Venus is a peace-making, harmony-loving
planet, and with your Sun conjunct Venus, you are always looking for ways to find peace
and harmony. You are brilliant at restoring balance. You are diplomatic and a veritable
expert at smoothing over (and sometimes glossing over) problems. You're usually
openhanded with others--tolerant and accepting. Some people with this aspect can be
superficial and two-faced or very much tied up with appearances. They might be too
agreeable, too pleasant (at the expense of honesty), and downright lazy at times.
However, this aspect also offers an excellent eye for style and pleasing surroundings. You
have distinct and refined taste, enjoying luxury and comfort more than most.

You're gracious, often romantic, and sometimes romantically impulsive. You tend to rely
on the power of attraction to bring others to you rather than aggressively pursuing them.
There is perhaps some vanity involved here--you are most attracted to people who
express interest in you, or who respond well to your charms! You are not inherently
competitive in the aggressive sense of the word, and you are not especially interested in
a chase. Instead, you work your charms and draw people to you. Keywords: attractive,
pleasing, and charming.

With Jupiter square Pluto in your birth chart, you have big plans and ambitions, and
some might say too big at times! You benefit from great resourcefulness, and if you can
tame your tendency to go overboard, you can do well with this trait. You can have an all-
or-nothing approach to life. This can be one indication of high levels of material success
or wealth.

You are driven and might make important contacts with people who can help you achieve
your goals. It will be important to watch for compulsive, over-the-top, or know-it-all
behavior. Power is enticing but should be used wisely. Your drive to control can
sometimes lead to conflicts with authority. Dissatisfaction with your current lot in life can
be used as motivation to reach higher, but if it's a perpetual issue (that is, you never feel
content with your accomplishments), then you might want to ask yourself if expansion is
always necessary. Take the time to count your smaller blessings and achievements.

Some notes about this birth chart calculator:

Please be patient when entering your birth city to allow the program to call up the
list of locations as sometimes it’s not instantaneous. If you’re just not getting
results and can’t submit, it may be that the atlas is busy (GeoNames has certain
limits per hour and per day). In this case, you can use this same tool on my sister
site, Astrology Cafe here.

It’s important to enter the city name only or the first several letters of the city in
the Birth City field, not the country or state/province/region. For example, if you
were born in Fuzhou, Fujian, China, you should enter “fuzhou” or similar and not
“fujian” or “china.” It’s better not to overtype – for best results, type in the CITY
name and scroll through the list for the correct city.

**Important: Under normal circumstances, you don’t need to change the time
zone offset. Please don’t adjust the time zone offset unless you know for certain
what you’re doing since the default offsets incorporate crucial factors (such as
daylight savings time), and are in the majority of cases accurate for births after
1970. There are some discrepancies in all historical time zone atlases, particularly
for birth years before 1970, however, so if you need help with the time zone offset
value, send an email to reports@cafeastrology.com. Be sure to mention why you’re
writing and include full birth data. **Note that the atlas in this software is not as
particular about historical time zones (before 1970 births) as the atlas in our Free
Report Section, but is excellent for post-1970 time zones. It is always a good idea
to check up on older dates since time zone changes, especially regarding Daylight
Saving Time, were erratic in some areas and not well-documented.

I have received many emails from people who feel they should be changing the +/-
value of the time zone offset number, quoting time converter formulas. Doing so will
give you incorrect results. Please see the FAQ here for the reasons not to change
the +/- value. Bottom line: astrology software converts local time to UT and not
vice versa, and the +/- values produced by this software are correct.

Note: if there is an error in the Geonames atlas service (that is, if the service
cannot find the time zone temporarily), the UTC offset will state “false” instead of a
numerical value. Before pressing Submit, please change “false” to the appropriate
time zone numeral. If you need help with determining this number, write to
reports@cafeastrology.com.

Note about house systems: If you’re new to astrology, simply stick with the Placidus
house system on this page and later in your studies, you can explore different house
systems. Mind you, many astrologers do end up sticking with Placidus after further study.
Using Placidus is not a sign of an unevolved astrologer, in other words, as some will have
you believe!
